Quick update.
Employment based (C9)
Filed all forms Nov 26th 2018.
After 6.5 months I decided to get a senator's involved. Requested an expedite.
Got USCIS notification few days ago: EAD Card is being produced.
Looks like going through senator's help can help if your case falls into the criteria to request an expedite.
I hope I get it in the mail not too long from now.
Been waiting and finally will get it.
Keep hope guys.

The 277day. No news. Ombudsman is delayed as well. May take 90-120days to respond. Just talked to my congresswoman today and signed privacy release form. Hoping I could hear some good news on the 9th month. Good luck everyone, good luck to myself.

Online status not always the latest (EAD)

Filing from NJ. NBC
RD 1/25/19 marriage based
I had a job lined up.
May 1st Expedition request sent for severe financial loss
May 8th Expedition request sent by congressman.
May 17th Expedition request approved to congressman.
June 3rd: RFE: Needed my long birth certificate.
June 10th RFE received.
June 17th Congressman reached out to USCIS on my behalf to know status. USCIS confirm EAD approved and send for printing.
The Online status was still on RFE received. so today I called USCIS. the first officer said that my EAD was still being processed. I explained that congressman had different info. They escalated to highest officer at 11am. 1:10 I received a call back from USCIS officer confirming that my EAD was being printed and the online was not always up to date.
this was great news and I wanted to share my story.

This was my second expedite so I'm not sure if I received my card through expedite process or regular processing since I'm 188 days in the process.
My 1st expedite was thru Senator's office and it was denied so I decided to do another one on my own using similar documents but I added a few more. I did not have a job offer but I made my case as convincing as possible.

i-765 - lost application
Application type: L2 spouse
Application delivered to Dallas on 05/13/2019
Fare charged to my credit card on 05/16/2019
Today, 32 days after the credit card charge, my application does not exist in USCIS.
I called USCIS, they couldn't find my application with any of my personal information.
They reported the lost case, and then I'll need to wait another 30 days just to resolve what happened with my application.
I can't believe how bad this process is.

Expedite EAD
Hello,everyone!
Has anybody asked USCIS to expedite EAD because of severe financial loss? If yes,isn't there any problem for the green card request? I mean,if you say that to expedite your EAD, will they consider you have no conditions to be here?
