- May 8th Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview.

This morning was the best morning in a long time because:

- June 24th New Card is being produced.

How long does it typically take to find the card in the mail? Do I have to be home?

Just Hold on guys, your time is coming soon!

EAD Jan 2019 filer
All FYI, took the risk of leaving the country without EAD card or I131 approval and applied for L1 extn in London. If visa was denied, then couldn’t enter US, but fortunately visa was approved for 2 years. Now doesn’t mater if EAD / AP comes even after 180 days extn runs out.
Lawyers don’t advise on taking the risk but waiting in limbo for EAD card is a torture. Those considering taking the risk, I would recommend it.

L2 ead renewal 2019
Uscis has stated 3 to 5 months for l2 ead(all centres).
Does anybody know, if they would process it within 150 days as quoted above? Many of us are on day 140 and still waiting. Uscis tool does not even let us raise inquiries before the 150 day mark..
Does anybody have a better idea about i-765 approvals?

Filled in Newark, NJ, case went to NBC, moved to Missouri, and case was transferred (no noticed about where it went though)

I believe the 'case is ready for interview' update happened twice because if my change of address. I don't really know...

The only thing I can say to you all is stay strong and positive, or at least try, bc only God knows how hard it is to stay positive during this process.

I started to believed it would never arrive, and I was destined to not work and stay at home for more than a year, but after 210 days it happened!

Good luck to all of us!

SSN while waiting for EAD + SSN?
I have sent the EAD application a month ago (L2 spouse). in the same application I requested the SSN.
But this process takes forever, so I'm wondering if I can apply for a SSN (no work) in order to be associated as a dependant of my partner for Healthcare / Medical / Life insurance.

Can I do that? if so, how is that going to impact my EAD application?

Thanks
