Documents to Expedit EAD- Ombudsman
Hi All,
I contacted the Ombudsman regarding expediting my EAD case due to financial loss, my spouse USC also lost her job due to COVID and I was the primary provider. I lost the job in March after my EAD expired but I have a letter from my company for rehire if i have my EAD. They have been contacting bi-monthly for an update and i have none. The Ombudsman is requesting documents for assistance, what can i provide to ensure success?

Waiting for my EAD mailed to me
I got aproved for form i765 on june 16th, it says also will mail you your EAD separately but since then never received my EAD in mail, is it normal? Or does it take time for them to mail the EAD after i765 approval ? Ekejiuba

Printing EAD card without biometrics
I requested to expedite my EAD (based on adjustment of status app) so that I can continue working in my current job. They approved the request but I haven’t received my EAD for 2 weeks now. I have not done a biometrics appointment yet either cause all centers are closed.
Has anyone received EAD or temporary work authorization if the biometric offices aren’t open? Do you have any suggestions on what to do so I can work?

I came to this country with J-1 visa and with a temporary SSN but now I married a USC and I got my EAD last week but still waiting for my new SSN or can I use my old temporary one to work which I think it might have expired long time ago

The whole process took me 5 months in total to get my EAD. My priority date was 01/24/2020
Same sex marriage based, I am from CA.
Never had an RFE.

EAD December Filler- Vermont
Hello everyone,
We filed L2EAD in December2019 (recieved by USCIS 23 Dec)and it went to Vermont center.
Now it has been more than 6 months and the case is outside normal processing range. Today they posted that they are working on applications of Jan 18.
What can I do next?
Is there someone with same issue?
Tried calling them but no help
Please help thanks in advance.
