How many times can someone expedite EAD or call in regarding theirs case? And will calling in to put an expedite request mess up my case? My attorney is saying me calling in to expedite will act against our case.
I called in yesterday and put in a expedite request and this morning got an email saying they are waiting for my response on RFIE so my case is on hold. But I have already sent my response on June 3. And they can denied my expedite request. Can I call in and explain the situation and put in another request?

Hi everyone, my PD is October 16 with NBC. all I 485 and I 765 both have the same status 'case was updated to show fingerprints were taken '. as if today, for I-765 on the website it shows that they are reviewing the October 18 cases. so i still have case was updated to show fingerpringts were taken status. around two weeks ago I contacted the congressman asked to expedite the case, sent them my job offer as well. but they said that its kinda normal that im waiting since it didnt hit my PD yet. so today I asked them if they can do an inquiry since it passed my PD , and they said they did. i also sent an inqury to Ombutsman and did an inquiry on the website for 'outside of normal processing '. (it said that the answer will be given by July 7)
my question is, if anyone went through this, how long did it take for any of the parties to take action, and have any good results.

My EAD was ordered and then later been approved and that was on 9th of this month but since then I haven’t gotten any tracking number or if the card has been mailed and earlier this month i see a lot of folks were ordered a new card and also been approved as of last week. So please if anyone have received tacking number or received a msg that their card has been mailed. Pls share your experience

Hello All!
I got a question regarding the paycheck and joint bank account. I'm waiting for my GC interview through marriage and I'm currently working in a company while on EAD. My question is should I ask my employer to deposit my paycheck to my personal bank account or should I ask them to deposit it into our joint account (my wife & I)?

WASHINGTON — After suspending approval of green card requests to immigrants abroad seeking U.S. residency, the Trump administration has also halted processing requests from green card applicants already living in the country.
The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services told employees this week that a “general hold” on permanent residency applications filed from immigrants within the United States would remain in place. But it updated a list of exemptions to the hold in a Wednesday email and other internal communication seen by CQ Roll Call. It was not clear when the hold was originally implemented.
Exemptions to the hold include applications of medical providers. The USCIS also allows immigration officers to submit applications that concern an “emergent or sensitive matter” outside these exemptions to their supervisors for consideration...
I am concerned!!!
