Help
Good morning, please whoever applied for Congressman or senator to help them expedite their application how did you guys go about it? And did you get immediate responses and was it effective.

I already applied for service request for my I-765 EAD Renewal and it’s past 200 days already. The renewal was received by USCIS on the 10th of July 2018.

And I already went for my interview on the 7th of January 2019. Still my I-485 profile says Interview Scheduled. The wait is killing and am naturally inpatient. At least even if they can’t issue the green card now why not issue the EAD renewal.

I would like all positive responses.Thanks.

Anyone get EAD renewal approved less 6.5 months?
Why C(9) EAD renewal taking unreasonably long nowadays?
If you apply for initial EAD it will just take about 5 months if no rfe issued
but if you apply EAD renewal it will take substantially long
It seems like no one is working on EAD renewal cases
The best result is 6.5 months for EAD renewal
tons of people been waiting for 8 months or more without hearing anything
Anyone get EAD renewal approved less 6.5 months?

P.d for i765 july 26th 2018.
Called Uscis on 24th Jan 2019,as its been 6 months, gave them my receipt number, they refused to share any information on my case saying this case information is sensitive, i askd them about my i485, he replied the same thing, he said if You have any questions You can write to Uscis VAWA department.
My vawa got approved Oct 2017.
Why would he not give me any info about my cases?

Anyone from july haven’t got their eads approved , no rfe, no case update status yet?

EAD
Hey guys

I just wanna hear your experiences for the EAD on a pending 485.
This is my Timeline.
Sent app on September 7th
App received September 15th
Biometrics done on October 5th
Finally an update on January 23rd on my 485 to "Ready to be scheduled"

My 765 (EAD) hadn't updated at all since October.
Is anyone in the same boat as me?
I haven't expedite bc I'm still within processing time, but I'll expedite it if I don't get anything in March. Bc the website says that you should get your EAD in 5 months a couple of days.

My EAD experience
Here's my timeline, in case it's helpful to others. This was for I-765 based on a pending I-485 adjustment application [(c)(9)], processed at National Benefits Center.

8/28/2018 - Application received by USCIS
9/4/2018 - Accepted fingerprint fee for I-485
9/7/2018 - Notice for biometrics appointment
9/27/2018 - Completed review of fingerprints, continuing to work on I-485
1/25/2018 - Online notice that EAD card is being produced and will be sent by mail

I never requested expedited service.

Good luck and hang in there everyone!

I-765 renewal
Hi guys,

Now that I stayed without job I can share my experience in hope that it can be useful to some of you. This is more for the ones that are renewing their work permit while waiting for green card case to be resolved.

I had my interview for marriage based I-485 on June last year and still waiting for answer. Meanwhile my first work permit expired on July 28. 2018. I applied for renewal late as I was sure they will let us know if we passed the interview on the spot (not the case).

Notice date for I765 renewal: June 20 2018

I got my letter which is also automatic extension for me (C9) for 180 days.
That expired two days ago on 24th.
I still did not get the actual card and I tried everything.

- Called, raised first service request because case was outside the regular processing time (no answer)
- 11/20 Requested expedited over phone (financial loss that WILL happen in case I lose job on 24th) I was
denied due to high level of requests
- Went for infopass (they told me to wait as my case is still not assigned to the officer.
1/11/19 Called senator, they were really helpful asked for documents to support expedite request for financial loss. I'm still waiting on the answer as it takes at least 2 weeks.
- And I requested another infopass now on Feb. 4th. and another service request online.

Meanwhile my last day to work was 24th now all I can do is wait so I can go back to work.
Few helpful tips:

I worked close with my HR regarding this issue, they told me when was my last day, do not try to work if your permit expires or your extension as it will affect you if USCIS checks your social security and see that you worked without permit. Also you will need to be terminated from work you won't be able to take leave or vacation as that means you are still employed by your employer.
Apply on time (at least 6 months) before your card expires!!!

On January 17, 2019, we sent a response to your request to have your case expedited,

On January 17, 2019, your request to have your case expedited, referral number T **** **** **** *** was assigned to an officer for response.

I had my husband work permit expedited ON 01/16/2018 due to a job offer. On 01/17/2018 I reeve an email asking for proof of documents. On 01/18/2019 I fax the documents per their request. I call USCIS on 01/24/2018, confirm if they have receive my husband documents.

The agent connect me to a Tier 2 agent even though I feel it was not one for the so calll tier 2 agent told me they do not see that the package was receive, however it may have been receive but the officer who is probably working on my husband case may not have updated the system yet,

No my husband job offer is for 02/04/19 and the tier 2 officer told me I should try back in 15 business days. Now I had my husband call the company who is offering the job and they are willing to extend it for him .

What can I do or should I just wait the 15 business days. I have also email my congresswoman on Thursday waiting on their response also.

I cannot stop stressing for this one income with 3 kids is killing me.

Please help!! Any advise
