INTERVIEWS
How do you guys think USCIS will interview all the people that submitted in the past couple of months?
I mean, I know a lot of people has been cancelled on their interviews but the question is... do you think they will re-schedule all the interviews for even next year? I believe they have thousands of applications that need to be processed and require an interview.
I hope they won't make us wait till next year for an interview... right? I wonder how are they gonna do it.
And in the meantime thousands of people is still submitting their cases right now too for first time, plus that there will be at least one more month without interviews because of the social distancing.

EAD Received Finally!
Hi All,

I have been a member of this community for over 2 months now and I can finally breathe a sigh of relief that I finally received my EAD and Travel card today. I have had a couple of sleepless months because my current OPT EAD expires on first week of June. If you have seen my earlier posts, I had lost hopes a week and half ago. But one last try worked out for me.

Below is my timeline (hopefully it helps someone)
12/16 - My PD
01/16 - Biometrics
02/08 - RFE on i-485
02/25 - RFE documents received
04/06 - 1st Expedite Request (Denied the same day)
04/09 - Reached out to Congressman for help. I got an email from Congressman that they sent my request to USCIS. I waited for over 3 weeks and still no response from Congressman. Reached out to Ombudsman on 05/07. No help from Ombudsman either as they responded that my application falls under regular timeline. On May 12, I decided to call USCIS for second expedite request as my last try and it worked out.
05/12 - 2nd Expedite Request - (financial loss reason as I currently have a job, my EAD expires on June 1st week)
05/15 - I-485 Status updated to "Ready to be scheduled for Interview"
05/16 - I-765 Status updated to "New Card is being Produced"
05/18 - I-765 Status updated to "Approved"
05/19 - I-765 Status updated to "Mailed your Card"
05/20 - I-765 Status updated to "USPS Picked up Card with Tracking number as well"
05/21 - I-765 Status updated to "Card Delivered". Yes, such a big relief as my USPS mail man rang the doorbell and delivered the package.

Anything is possible! Don't give up if you have a genuine reason that is going to impact you and your family in a big way.

Congressman Response
Hello All,

USCIS responded to Congressman : "The I-539 application needs to be adjudicated first before the I-765 application can be worked. The I-539 application is in queue to be assigned to an adjudicating officer. The officer will work both applications. Please allow at least 30 business days"

Did any one of you had this kind of response and how many days it took to get the approval?

Thanks!

November ead
I have been waiting 6 months and STILL nothing. Finger prints were taken and it was immediately changed to “actively being reviewed by uscis” and nothing since. Is there anything I can do at this point? What qualifies as sever financial loss? What would I send in to prove that? I’m desperate and so discouraged at this point.
