I765-EAD-Work permit- marriage certificate in foreign language
Hello all,

My wife and I moved to the US few months back. My wife holds L1-B visa and I hold L2 visa. I applied for EAD for myself

I received a request for evidence regarding my marriage certificate. I was asked to send a marriage certificate in foreign language along with an english translation.

We got married in Hyderabad, India. Our marriage certificate has native language and its translation in English within a single document. I do not have a separate marriage certificate in native language since both languages are on the same document.

Did someone face this issue and can you please help.  My email is [email protected]

Thanks in advance,
Sunil

Hi everyone!
I finally got notification that my I-765 was approved!!!!! I've been waiting since November.
Does this mean that I should be expecting my card in the mail? I've been reading through this forum that most people got a notification that their card was being produced. Does this mean I'll have to wait for a while longer before I get my card?

Any advice would help! Thanks!

EAD and SSN
Married to USC (04/15/19).
Priority date (11/27/19)
Case was received (12/04/19)
Finger prints were taken (12/26/19)
RFIE (birth certificate,financial things) (01/27/20)
RFIE was received (03/12/20)
Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview (03/23/20)

Ucscis website still shows my i-765 as ‘’ notice was returned to uscis because the post office could not deliver it’’ it was for RFE and i called them for this notice and they sent me the notice on e-mail which required some evidences, i fixed them all anyways. My case ready to be scheduled but uscis still showing same notice for my form i-765. I’m thinking thats why i didn’t received my EAD and SSN.

Have anyone experienced same situation with me?

Couple weeks ago, I have received my Work permit without my social security number card. Since then , I have decided to call up the local social security office (Charlotte,NC)to verify if there was an entry for me but there was not, so one of their agent told me to fill out the SS5 form along with my original documents ( work permit & passport) in order to received my card

Suddenly, after a month and half. Today when I went to check out my Mail , I just received my social security number card from Baltimore, Maryland. I don’t know what that means. I have already sent my work permit and passport to receive a new card. What should i do to prevent to have a second social security card along with my original documents back that I applied with ?

I-765 NBC, NYC
I-485 updated May 5-2020 case ready to be scheduled.
I-765 updated May 7-2020 we ordered your new card.

Normally that I am happy. Took 5 months and a half to be approved, with 2 expedite requests denied, check my profile.
I thought that going to create me problems because I filed for I-485 for a second time and I thought I am gonna wait 1 year and than sue in court, thanks god it didn’t, but still need to be careful for I-485 now.

The first time I filed with a notary service and that was stupid cause she didn’t know shit, she didn’t even advised me to maintain legal status or even go back, this time with a lawyer.
Also I had wrong expectations, short story Uscis is not your friend.

Good luck to everyone.

EAD being produced after expedite
Finally EAD card approved! Can't believe it!!! I can't wait to receive it in the mail!!

My timeline so far! AOS via marriage to USC. NBC and Baltimore field office

December 12th - I-130 received (Potomac Service Center)

January 30th - I-485, I-130 & I-765 received (at NBC)

February 25th - Biometrics (applied to I-485 and I-765)
Biometrics applied to I-131 on March, 6th

March 17th - USCIS sent me a RFIE for I-485 (birth certificate)

March 26th - USCIS received my answer for RFIE (very happy they received the package because they were already closed to the public and I was scared they might not been getting mail)

April 17th - at 11 pm I received an alert that my case is ready to schedule interview!

May 4th - call USCIS to expedite my working permit due to financial loss to a person

May 5th - I received an email asking me for proof - I faxed
cover letter, job offer)

May 7th - got an update that they received my fax and were working on a decision

May 7th (2 hours later) - your I-765 card is being produced!!

I am so happy! I don't know when I will receive it in the mail and if the I-131 travel permit will be included, I will let you know!

My advice: if you have a job offer try to expedite, you don't loose anything and you can be lucky!!!
