Feb 26 C(9) filer--nothing so far
My spouse and I (USC) filed the I485 and I765 (I130 was already approved in Jan) on Feb 26. Since completion of the biometrics procudure on April 2nd there has been radio silence. Our case should be simple as we meet all requirements, have an already approved I130, and have been married >4 years prior to filing. We filed from California (Bay Area).

OPT EAD card production delay
Hi All,

My initial OPT cas was approved on July 9th and the case status shows' new card is being produced'.. But since then there is no update. I tried to call USCIS, the customer service said it's normal to process the card production between 30-60 days which is totally not true!!!!!!

I really have no idea what's going on. Does anyone have such experience??? Is there anything I can do?? I have raised an SR but no feedback at all. I tried to email the congressman but never heard back from them. I have already postponed my start date third times.... I am afraid the company will revoke the offer if I can't get the EAD card next week :(

EAD (c9) Florida April filer and expedite questions
Hi all,

I have been reading a lot of posts on this forum and decided to share my experience.

Married to USC
Concurrent filing: I-130, I-131, I-485, I-765
Application Received Date: 4/12/2018
Biometrics Received: 5/10/2018
Current Case Status: "...we completed our review of your fingerprints and are working on your Form..."

- Left my previous job 6/15/2018 due to the expiration of last EAD, the employer is still holding the position for me until 8/31/2018.

- Contacted my local congressperson's office on 7/10/2018, they mentioned that they could not file any expedite requests on behalf of me. I will need to submit expedite requests by myself.

- Raised one SR via phone on 7/12/2018 and the customer representative told me to wait for a letter in the mail requesting for more infomration/evidence. The letter never came and I received an email on 7/17/2018 saying - "Due to the high volume of expedite requests for this case type, we are strictly enforcing the criteria that have been set for these expedite requests. While your situation appears serious, you have not provided evidence of an extreme emergent need. "

Called the USCIS three times and spoke with one L2 officer to clarify the fact that I never had a chance to provide sufficient evidence for my request (didn't know which office or fax number to send evidence to and they never email/mail me an RFE). Three CS reps and the L2 officer said that they could NOT do anything about this. It seemed like the immigration officer who reviewed my case decided not to request for more evidence and closed my request directly. And I HAVE TO WAIT for another 30 days to raise another expedite request. One rep did mention that I should schedule an InfoPass and submit the request in person. However, the L2 officer said it wouldn't matter since my I-485 and I-765 are still with the National Benefits Center and I will still need to wait for another 30 days.

- I am planning to to go a scheduled InfoPass session on 7/24/2018 with evidence to support my case (job offer with a deadline, bank statements, employer's letter of support). Honestly, I am having a hard time keeping myself positive. Today is just one of those down days in waiting.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
- Please remember to mail or fax all supporting evidence as soon as you raised a request and ask the CS rep to take as many notes as possible when submitting the request over the phone. In my case, the immigration office didn't even give me a chance to send in more information.
- You may not be able to raise multiple expedite requests within 30 days, which was never mentioned in any posts I saw...or USCIS website

Hope you all can have your EADs or expedite requests approved soon.
