Expedite Request Denial x2!
Has anyone had their Expedite request denied twice?
My first was Feb 21st and my Senates office has tried to expedite on my behalf as i loose employment next week, i received and update on my case 3/23 saying it again is denied.

I feel that if you try to expedite you get punished for trying to do that...

Not sure what to do now - guess nothing.
This is Vermont processing center.

First Time EAD approved in 1 month
Hi ,

I or my company applied EAD for my spouse which has been recieved at USCIS on feb 7th and we got the card on 20th of March . I see everywhere that EAD card is taking more than 4 months while in our case we did get it in a month time. We applied to california center. Are they processing the cases faster now or were we just lucky?

Here we go again - J2 EAD renewal Potomac
Hi,

any fellow J-2 renewers this year? After the disaster with last year, where it took 124 days for our approval and another 20 for the delivery, which resulted in loss of eligibility for a week and a lot of frustration on our end, we thought this year would be better.

We again tried to file particularly early but yet again ran into incompetence on the university side which again delayed things by a total of 5 weeks. We finally submitted early March with a RD of 03/06.

Recent entries on Trackitt had been hopeful for faster processing times at Potomac (in the 60-70s days), but the post a little further down here in the forum with a filer from November still not having been approved (>4 months) makes me extremely nervous, particularly considering what's going on in the country, currently.

Anyone in the same boat?

Wife's H4 EAD issue
Hi Everyone,

I have a unique situation for which I have not been able to get any answers.

I recently switched companies. In my previous company, my H1b, wife's H4 and H4 EAD were valid till Sept 2021.
When the immigration lawfirm (of current company) filed for transfer of my H1b, wife's H4 and H4 EAD, my H1b got approved till May 2022. But wife's H4 and H4 EAD got approved till Apr 2020 only (validity reduced than what she already had, Sep 2021). In her I-797 notice, we saw that USCIS approved till May 2022 but CBP screwed up approved only till Apr 2020.
Immigration lawfirm suggested to re-file her case, which we did. But since there is a long wait in processing, we don't know what will happen after Apr 2020. Did anyone else ran into similar issue? Can my wife still work, based on her previous EAD which was valid till Sept 2021? Is there anything else we can do to correct this mistake from CBP/USCIS?

Thanks for any suggestion/help.
