Just wanted to share a positive experience thus far. Although I submitted my application to the Dallas lockbox, it was sent to the Vermont processing center
December 31st, 2019 : Case received
March 18th, 2020: Case approved
March 18th, 2020: New card being produced
Hopefully I will receive my card in the mailbox soon. Good luck everyone, hope you will receive your cards soon

Hoping for the best
Well, as the USCIS tweeted "In an effort to protect our employees & communities, effective immediately, we'll no longer be providing in-person services at any of our offices. We'll continue operations & services that don't require in-person contact w/ the public."
I hope they will catch up with all the EAD applications now as they have plenty of time by canceling all the in-person services and work on operations &services that don't require in-person contact with the public.

It’s so disheartening and I am starting to lose hope on this , 205 days and counting.

I have been waiting for more than 5+ months and I literally lost hope after this lock down due to corona virus. I thought I will not hear back anything till April but yesterday night status changed!! I literally started shivering... This shows they are still processing all the cases even after the lock down. All the very best for everyone who is waiting for a long time.
Thank you for the support. This forum really helped me a lot to keep me calm.
Now I have to wait for the card to arrive.. I guess it takes 7 to 10 days time ?

Hi,
Has anyone received first time EAD card for which the received date was in December 2019.
I have seen a couple of people getting there EAD cards renewed.
Will this Corona virus is going to effect timelines as the USCiS office is shut now.

I requested my EAD card on September. Last week I received a notice that they need more information. I sent this information. Do you think they will be faster with my case? Because I do not know if they will close.
