Request for Initial Evidence Notice Was Mailed
We saw today when we check our visa status in USCIS website by entering our receipt number "SRC15900xxxxx "it says that "Request for Initial Evidence Notice Was Mailed".

Our first NOA1 date is 3rd Nov 2014, after 165 days the case status changed for the request of initial evedence.

Would you share your experience
We saw with our receipt No. online that our I-129f Fiance petition has been approved on March 13, 2015 and that they will send as a letter telling us what to do next. If anyone can share how long it took them after this to get their letter from the NVC, so that we can prepare for the next steps beforehand.
Thank you in advance

Help We are Desperate !!!!!!!
Hi, I'm a Danish man married to an American woman we have to kids together age 4 and 7 with dual citizenship, sorry if I spell something wrong , we are in a desperate situation, my wife wishes to go back home, but in order for me to follow, it seems like we are "forced" to divorce, because we have lived in Denmark for 5 years now so she has no income from America, so she can't sponsor me for a IR-1 visa without a co- sponsor, and we have no one to ask for help to get a co- sponsor, is there any other way, any help for us??

Thanks for any help in advance.

Already Married to a US citizen
Hi
I am married to a US citizen. We got married in USA when I was there on B1/B2 Visa. I am back to India and we didnt file my spouse visa for processing. I am aware that if we apply for spouse visa, it will take more than a year.

My question is, Can I go to USA on work visa now OR use B1/B2 again and then apply for spouse visa? Remember we are already married!!

My only concern is that I want to be with my partner ASAP and do not want to be away from my partner until the whole spouse visa gets processed.

Thanks

K-1 VISA AND I-485 MARRIED
This is a continuation from K-1 fiancée
Well my fiancée arrived on November 24th, 2014 the officer only asked her couple of questions 1- what type of visa she was traveling with... 2- Officer asked her if this was her first time traveling? Third question the officer asked her to turn in the sealed package? They opened they read it and gave it back to her, they also stamped her passport. And placed some stamps to some forms in the sealed package then she was good to go.
Now my next step was to get marry, we got marry in December 21, 2014. There is process for this. You can pay for someone to all this paper they want to charge me about $ 350 or you can do it yourself. I did it myself; I spent $60 to get the marriage license and $15 to get a copy of your recorder marriage license. The same day we went to the social security department to apply for her new social. Fiancée must take her k-I visa that is stamped on her passport, I took the I-94 just in case, you can get it on line..
Early January 2015 I applied for legal residence filed form I-485 pay an application fee for $1070 along with all the supporting documents. Within a week I received a receipt letter (form 797C notice of action) with a new case number. Like 2 more weeks later we received another letter with an appointment date for her finger print and photos.
Appointment date will be for 18/ Feb. / 2015
I will get back with you after that appointment date and her interview

I hope that this can help some people.

K-1 VISA USA / EL SALVADOR
Hello to ever one very happy my fiancés visa was approved on November 3-2014. But let me tell my personal experience. On May 10th 2014 I sent the form I-129f with a check of \$340. On May 21 I received I-797C a receipt letter in the letter has the receipt number to track you application.
On September 19, 2014 I received the approval letter I-797 notice of action my petition has been approved. Now this petition letter is sent to the National Visa Center (NVC) in about a week a called the NVC to find out the status on my petition (603) 334-0700 call early in the morning they are open at 7 am. So they told me to wait until October 17-2014. In the mean time I started building my package, 1- photo album you and your fiancé together, copy of your , naturalization certificate, income taxes for 3 year prior with w-2s, the I-864 affidavit of support, notarized if you don’t have enough income you can have someone to sponsor you he/she must fill out the same form I-864 notarized. Any papers you submitted send the original forms just in case they ask and bank statements.
Well on October 15, 2014 I called the NVC to find out the status on the k-1 visa. They told they have the approval on the system. So you need to get the SNSXXXXXXXX number and the IINXXXX invoice number, you will need those numbers. In the mean time your fiancée can start working on her part getting the criminal record from her country, birth certificate, all these paper has to be translated in English, immunizations, pay a fee to Citibank I paid \$365 you will need the receipt number to make the interview appointment, fees can go up check before.
Once you have the SNS and the IIN number is time to fill the DS-160 application this is very long form but can always come back and continue. Once you are done with the form print the bar code page.
The next step is to email the embassy/consulate ([email protected]) that you need package# 4 send them prove print out DS-160 bar code page. The package #4 is an email with instructions what to do before the interview; your fiancée will need this email, for her medical exam. Medical exam are doctors approved by the embassy, I paid \$400 total for the X-rays and medical exam. But some other can pay up to \$600. Now if your girlfriend doesn’t have immunization, don’t worry this doctor will take care of you. Good idea if you take immunization card. Your x-rays will be delivered by your doctor. Once you’re done with all medical make the appointment with the embassy, you could make it before but is scary in case your fiancé has delays with the medical exam. So is better to make it when everything is ready. Also make an appointment with the doctor. This how close I was, my fiancée doctor’s appointment was on October 31.2014, my fiancée council interview was on November 3rd. We were told too risky. Five days prior to your interview is good. Luckily she was approved but was well prepared. On November 12 her visa was sent to the address you picked when you made the appointment. I was worry too cause after her interview I rushed to buy her fly ticket for the 24 of November. So is better to wait. Make good judgments. Be patient, don’t blame your fiancée, lol. If you have any question I leave my email [email protected] good luck

help me, please!!!!
i was interviewed last june at the US Embassy fro K1 visa. Fortunately, i passed it. but there's a little problem on my documents that was not included on the consular hands, it was the affidavit of support and my petitioner's income. the consular required me to mailed those papers they needed. i did mailed what they wanted to but all of it was scanned documents. after few weeks, the consular asked me a letter stating for the reason why my fiance has no income. i did mailed it again. but for a month, i received a refusal stating "public charge". My passport until now is still at the embassy. i received the refusal online august 8 and i received the refusal letter september 6. what are the things i need to do then? is there some chances that i can get my visa? i am confused as will if i can do some appeals or waiver? would it take too long to grant my visa then? PLEASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSEEEEEE!!! DO HELP ME ON IT!!! I WOULD BE GLAD AND THANKFUL..
