Asylum Based i-485

Good news finally.

My timeline:
December 2017 - Asylum approved
January 2019 - Filed I-485 to TSC since I live in Texas
February 2020 - Fingerprint appointment
October 2020 - New card is being produced

So total waiting time for me is 20 months (Texas Service Center)

P.S. Originally I’m from Russia and my Asylum was granted by Asylum office.

I’ve received a text message this morning saying that my case has been updated.
Went online and saw that the status has changed to
“New Card Is Being Produced
On October 1, 2020, we ordered your new card”

HI guys. I was wondering are they using old bio metrics for form I-485. or not. If they send a notice for an appointment.
1. when do they usually send the notice.
2. is the appointment is a period ( 2weeks for example) or just one exact day.

It all depends. Sometimes they use your older prints and sometimes they just ask you yo do FP again. And the appointment is just one exact day and time. You can always reschedule it but i would not suggest that.

April 2018. Recently I received RFE, sent it back 2 weeks ago and still waiting.

Congratulations. So far seen 2 ppl with approval in 2 days. Looks like a positive sign for all of us. Lets hope for the best

They received my answers to their RFE on August 18th, approved the case on October 2.

Hey guys! I applied for I-765 and I-131 (Work Permit and Travel Document respectively) about 4 weeks ago, and I haven't received any I-797C yet. I didn't pay anything since I sitll have pending I-485, from October 2018. Is it currently normal to take that long to get a reply? How may I know if they actually received it? As per USPS track, the packages were delivered on time at USCIS facility. Usually it takes 2 weeks to get a Notice of Action, no matter what it says.

This is exactly what happened to me! I emailed Phoenix Lockbox and the next day I received a notification text message for my case number and couple of days later the receipt came in mail .
