Same problem with me- flight end of next week and needed to figure out plans to travel to Mumbai since I need to travel there half a day to get to the Consulate.

Hey folks,
This site helped me quite a bit while I was planning my visit to India for visa purposes so wanted to share my experience. Quick background first. This is my fourth H1-B stamping and second time Dropbox. My previous Dropbox experience was pretty bad. I had dropped off my documents then after a week my passport was returned with a blue slip and was asked to go for an in person interview. After the interview VO said that your visa is approved but waited a month for it to actually come through. This time was a much better experience
11/28 - Submitted documents (797a current and previous + passport)
11/29 (10:00) - Case created
11/29 (5:00) - Administrative processing
11/30 (10:00) - Issued
11/30 (3:30) - Ready for pickup

H1B Interview Delhi
I had my H1 B interview in Delhi.
1st H1b was stamped in 2008 and expired in 2011
Travelled to India after 10 years.
Nov 14th - Finger printing. I had fist name error (it should be FNU) as i donot have a last name on passport. Fixed the error and went back to the center. Finger printing and picture was taken.
Nov 15th - Actual interview. Long line. Took hr and half to get to the interview.
Questions asked:

2. How long have you been working for this employer?
3. What do you do for them?
4. Repeated Question 2?
5. What does the company do?
6. What type of cutomers do they have?
7. Where do you live?
8. What is your salary?
9. Do you have family in the US?
Your visa is approved and you will get it in 3 days.

11/20 - Picked up (didnt get an email for ready to pick up) I checked via various methods to check the status and it was ready for pick up

H1b stamping - 221g Yellow slip
The VO asked me general questions.
She asked me my highest level of education , which is replied to MBA
And my job title. I said BI Data Analyst.
Is this 221g because of job title not matching with educational background ?
I just had my extension approved and never got any RFE on specialty occupation.
Does 221g cases go back to USCIS for review ?
