OFC: Friday, 24th Nov 2018
Interview: Monday, 26th Nov 2018 around 10am
Current status:
AP since the day of interview. No updates since then.
Travel docs started to show no status under document delivery information starting Friday, 7th Dec 2018.
Posting here to see if anyone else are in similar situation. Should I be contacting my employer to see if they received any correspondence?
Also, I am having difficulty counting the number of business days with a holiday for day of mourning, Telangana elections. How are others who attended interview on 26th in Hyd consulate counting business days? Any help would be appreciated.

Here is my experience so far. Not sure how long this will take.
3rd Dec : Dropped documents at Dropbox location
4th Dec : your passport is with US consulate .No status on CEAC site
5th Dec - Consulate closed.
6th - 7th Dec : Application Recived. Your passport is with US consulate.
Does this usually take this long ? Anybody having similar experience?

Stamping Interview Experience in Hyderabad for H1b Extension?
I am planning to visit India and I would have to go for Stamping Interview as my last stamped visa is more than a year old. Any info would be much appreciated as on How the interviews are going and whats the general trend in Hyderabad Consulate. I am with the same employer ( EC Model, Wage mentioned in I129 form is 66k ) and my last visa stamping went smooth and got stamped visa within 5 days around 2.5 years back....

Need help on H1b questions
Hi All,
My H1B interview is scheduled for next week and this is my 1st H1b interview and freshly approved petition.
Dec 2017, i applied for B1 visa twice and it was rejected.
I applied once for training and next time for knowledge transfer. Both was rejected.
Now will i have any issues on H1B?
What will be the best answer i can give if they ask for B1 visa rejection?

Interview in hyderabad : scared as hell, help
Interview scheduled at Hyderabad consulate.
I’m a FTE, working for a non-profit organization; my pay is between 75-80K. Will this be of any problem? If so, how should I defend that it’s a skilled position?

221g-H1b Hyderabad
H1 approved this year without RFE. Had site review just before I came to india for vacation. All went well and review is complete.
Interview : Dec 06
Asked basic questions, which state, highest qualification,employer,client,salary,designation.
Was given white slip and told, "usually it takes 3-5 days for approval, but your case needs administrative processing and takes another week extra. I suppose everything is good but just needs more details. No docs asked to submit or asked while interview"
I wanted to know if it takes 1 week extra only or might take months and they tell 1 week for everyone. I have seen most people getting white slip today.

H1b & H4 Drop off - Delhi Consulate
I am a FTE, getting H1b stamped for 2nd time. It is a different company from previous H1b stamping and I also had a new Passport, I had I140 approved from the previous company but since I changed company in June 2018, that I140 is not valid now.
Following is our timeline...
13th Nov - Submitted Documents
16th Nov - Case Created (Both H1b and H4) Application Received Status
26th Nov - H4 Visa Issued
27th Nov - H4 Visa Collected
3rd Dec - H1b Status changed from Application Received to Administrative Processing
H1b status is still Administrative Processing, H4 got approved and stamped on 26th Nov.
Is anyone on the same boat? Also, Can my wife (H4) travel to USA without me (H1b visa not stamped, H4 visa stamped)? Thanks in advance

Where are you working? What do you do at work? Salary? Direct employment? Highest academic qualification? How many employees in company?

Anyone issued 221g slip, passport returned and still waiting ?
I had interview on Nov 27th 2018 at Mumbai. I work for EVC model. They issued me 221g yellow slip to provide with additional documents. I provided all the documents but no movement. My client is not contacted yet. I have read cases and looks like it takes minimum 60 days to around 6-7 months.
