I am going for h1b extention stamping on Dec 11th.
I heard like, now people are getting queries on field of education and field of work.
my education is in Electronics and communication engineering and working on IT.
Anyone got a query like this, if asked in the interview what should we say?
Please suggest some ideas.

H4 Visa AP process
Hi
Me and my wife did dropbox at Ahmedabad for H1B and H4 Visa renew.
I got approve but my wife got green ticket asking for appear at Mumbai US consulate for Finger prints only.
After 2 days her Visa application status shows in AP.
me and my wife have to leave after 10 days, I dont know what to do
or anyone else experience same thing
please suggest some ideas or solution

H1B Visa Issue(Interview)
I went to interview on Nov 21st 2017. At the interview she told there is some sevis issue it will take 2-3 days to update. other than that she didnt gave any slips for 221g.
But when i see in ustravel docs it says your passport is still with embassy
when i see in ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx it says still in administrative process
and when i sent a mail to to [email protected] they sent a mail saying 'YOUR VISA APPLICATION IS REFUSED FOR ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING UNDER SECTION 221(G) OF THE US'
Dont know what happen or what to do . Please suggest me.

I have attended interview visa interview on 11/07/2017, VO asked couple questions, Taken passport and said Happy Journey. I didn't receive my passport till now. ceac.state.gov website showing administrative processing.

Hello Everyone,
Looking for H1B stamping advise scheduled in first week of December 2017 at hyderabad location.
Have i-797 until Feb 2019. I am having bachelors degree - wage level 2 with the same employer since first H1B from Feb 2013, I have two extensions : one from 2014 to 2017 and second from 2017 to 2019.
Any help/suggestions/advise/experience will be greatly appreciated.

this was my first h1b interview and VO approved it but at the end he told me since my name is still in my Grad School in California it will take days to get back my passport but he told me that i will get within two weeks.
Now its showing AP... do i need to be worried ??

H1B Dropbox Mumbai
Hi All,
Thanks for all the info here. Helps a lot immensely. I submitted my Dropbox on 11/22. On 11/24 Changed to administrative processing. Its in that "Administrative processing" till now.
This is my 3rd H1B extension. Only difference here is change of employer. How long does the dropbox usually take and should i be worried?

Went in 14:45
Barcode scan and entered inside of building
Security check
Documents check
Sticker with visa details affixed on passport
Moved inside and given token
Waiting for turn and got my turn
Handed over documents;passport,DS160 confirmation, payment proof;
Asked me to read the disclaimer and took a Photograph of me
Finger prints taken
Stamped on dox
Done
Consular office 12 Sep 09:00 hrs
Went in 8:20
Security check
Refused to enter coz of sealed envelope (My suggestion-take all the sealed dox in opened condition)
Came out and opened the sealed envelope and entered again
Security check done again
Passport verified and given Know Your Rights phamplet
Took passport and finger prints and asked to sit at waiting hall
Allowed to interview 9:30
Counter 12 - 09:40am
Assistant at interviewer took passport and i797
And kept near VO
My turn now
Gud morning officer
No response... She was busy doing something in computer.
Later saw me and said Hey!!

Oct 4th Call from US consulate Hyd; asked all details again and said if any info or dox needed we will contact you;
Oct 5th to till date the status is same as ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING.
its been almost 11 weeks and still the status is same.
Any one in similar situation? (Full time job with direct employer)
Waiting is really torturous.
