Overall time: 15 mins in queue ; 20 mins waiting time in Hall ; Interview: 30 to 40 seconds

Interview:

Me: Good morning sir..
Vo: Good morning

VO: Please pass me your passport
Me: here you go

He just checked the passport page by page and said... oh “Republica Argentina “ ------------ ( by seeing Argentina Visa stamping, btw I have multiple visa stampings for other countries in my passport including B1/B2)

Me: yes sir , I have travelled there

VO: Who is your end client
Me: *** *** ***

VO: Is it in Austin, Texas

H4 was rejected due to incorrect fee on Feb20 which was filed before i94 expiry date(Dec20).It is resubmitted a week, Can dependent stay in USA since it was refiled ?
I was working with Company A on L1B visa which was expired on Dec 20th 2020. During valid i94 of L1b, Company A filed L1B extension and L2 for dependent in Oct, 2020. L1/L2 I94 Expiry date : Dec
20th 2020.

Meanwhile my H1B was approved in Oct, 2020 filed by Company B. I moved H1 status Dec 1st, 2020 when my L1-i94 was valid. My H1B status is valid till 2023. it is good.

But, Company B had filed H4 transfer request before their last i94 valid ( Dec 20, 2020) since I moved on H1 status. On Feb, 27th 2020. H4 transfer request of dependant got rejected due to incorrect fees and received green slip. Company B resubmitted new file within a week.

My family is so scared to travel outside USA during this COVID-19. Could you please let us know whether my dependants could stay in USA since it is resubmitted or they have to leave ?

Sevis terminated with h1 consular processing
Hi everyone,

I applied for a consular processing h1 in feb last year (big mistake, regretting it now) and noticed that my f1 was terminated by sevis regardless. My company’s legal people are filing for a switch to adjustment of status (I think it’s a whole new application). My university has raised a ticket ith one of uscis or sevis to reverse the status to active. Can someone please comment on the timeline for the reversal, whether the new h1 filing will be hindered by the sevis issue, worst case scenario outcome? Thanks in advance!
