I have been going through immihelp since last month and read almost first 60 pages of it. Thanks all for sharing your experience. It helped me a lot.
Below is my experience at Hyderabad consulate on 4th April.
I am not mentioning about OFC (3rd April) as it is a easy process.
Note: Car Paring available at Pass port office and functional hall. No worries :).
Reached consulate one hour early, allowed me immediately . Waited for more than 1 hour in waiting lobby and next to security check.
Security guys didn't allow the sealed covers, sent me out to open it.
After waiting one more hour, cross checked our finger prints and allowed me to interview lobby.
One lady took my passport and gave it VO.
Below are the list of questions to me.
ME.Good morning madam ? how are you?
VO : No reply. (She was very busy)
VO: Give me your I797
ME: shared
VO: who is your petitioner?
ME: YYYY company.
VO: is this your first H1B?
ME: yes.
VO: do you have end client?
ME: It is an in-house project, I will be working at employer's location.
VO: what is the project name?
ME: YYYY project. (mentioned just name )
VO: how many people work for this project?
ME: 9
VO: what is your role?
ME: Programmer analyst.
VO: How may employees work for your company?
ME: count is (ss) and it has increased since the date of petition.
VO: where is he located?
ME: street, city and state.
VO: How do you know about this position?
ME: one of my friend referred me for this position.
VO: What is your salary?
ME: zzz per annum.
VO: what is the location? is it xx state?
ME: Yes madam.
Pause for 2 to 3 minutes. searching something in system.
VO: How many employees working at employer's location?
ME: (rr) employees.
pause for 2 minutes. searching something in system again.
VO: Can I look at your LCA?
ME: sure, shared the LCA.
Returned LCA.
pause again, searching something in system .
VO: Returned I797, Thank you sir, your visa is approved.
ME: Thank you madam and left the counter.

She never looked at my face or eyes. Be confident...

No Status update for passport - Admin Processing
I was eligible for Dropbox. and this was 2nd Stamping in Delhi embassy.

Received 221g to attend interview attached with passport on 8th Mar 2016

My previous H1B Visa stamp expired on 01-April-2015.
H1 extension got approved till 01-Oct-2016. Had to come to India for family emergency.
On 22-Mar, I went through the IWP questions and it guided me to the dropbox confirmation letter. I am in the border.
24-Mar: Landed in Chennai, Dropped the docs around 11AM. Status: No Status
25-Mar: Holiday (Good Friday).
26-Mar: Saturday
27-Mar: Sunday
28-Mar: Case created, Status: Ready
29-Mar: Update Date - 29th, Status: Ready
30-Mar: No change
31-Mar: Update Date - 31st, Status: Ready

Visa Interview on 03/28 @ 10am but was let in at 9am. Verified fingerprints and waited for about an hour
VO was a young lady. Questions asked:
1. Petitioner

3. Role
4. What I do at end client
5. Number of employees with the employer
6. Size of the end client team
Final words, "Visa is issued and have a pleasant stay in US"
Passport Status was updated at around 12pm on 03/30 and collected by 4pm same day.

Husband and wife both on h1b chennai approved
Myself on H1 completed 7 years. Wife H1B 3rd year.Scheduled interview on same day March 14th and interview slot 1 hr apart between each other.
Went for biometric one day before consular interview.biometric simple and straight forward.
interview day
#1 - went 1 hour before appointment. first queue near the bus stop outside the consulate, one guy took the passport detail and ds160 and registered that we have come for interview.
#2 - second queue - outside the consulate - place to keep your belongings .they will give a plastic bag and you can keep cellphone (switched off) and other things which you dont need for interview. Smartwatches are not allowed and only regular watches are allowed.
#3 - Third queue -outside the consulate - that allows to enter into embassy. They check the passport , appointment and see any prohibited items you are carrying
#4 - Fourth queue - inside the embassy similar to airport securtiy checkin - Keep all your belongings in the tray including wallet , bags, files etc.
#5 - Fifth queue - allows to enter to visa lobby and takes you to finger print checking. They will ask you to keep your fingers and make sure its matching before you appear for visa interview
#6 - sixth queue - this is final queue for face to face interview with visa office. there are about 10 counters , 5 on the front which you can see while waiting in the queue and 5 on the left hand side that you cannot see from the queue. Once you come to the front
of the queue, they will guide you to which counter you should go.

We both are working as a FTE. Same questions asked to both of us.
