How are doing Madam? (To My Wife)

Which company are you going to work in US?

Are you going to work for a client? (I said no i would be working for an in house project)

How many employees working for the company?

Do you have petitioner Tax documents? (I have handed over the tax documents. VO did not even had a look at it. Just kept by her side)

What is you highest qualification? (To my Wife)

VO said your Visa's are approved. Returned Employer Tax Documents. Kept our Passports

The interview process took less than a minute. I wasn't asked any other document

Thanks a lot for those who shared their experiences

All the best for those who are about to attend their Visa Interview

Note- I have noticed they are asking Photos for some people. They haven't asked me. I am not sure why they are asking for some of them. So i would suggest you to carry photographs (Should be in US Visa standard) with you while attending for your Visa interview

Hi All,

Firstly would like to thank Immihelp for creating such a good platform and thank all the members for posting their experiences.

On 28th Dec, I had my OFC.
I have attended the visa interview on 30th Dec. Below are the questions.

The VO was not at all interested in looking at the documents, didn't even look at original I797. Just looking at the system and typing all through the interview.

1) What is the employer name.

2) How many employees in the company.

3) What is your salary.

4) What does your employer do.

5) Are you directly working for the company or any client.

6) What does your client engage in.

7) Asked again what is your salary and employees in the company both client and employer.

8) What is your highest degree.

9) How is the education system in UK.

At last said the magical words, your visa is approved.

Thanks

H1B approved then admin processing
Hi All,,

Date: 28th Dec 2015

Below questions asked to me:
1. Who is your employer?
2. Is there any end-client?
3. who is your end client?
4. What is your qualification?
5. Is this a 4 year regular degree program?

I answered all questions.
VO said: Your visa is approved sir, have a nice day.

But after 2-3 minutes, when I was moving out of the embassy building, one lady shouted and said: "Sir, please come, VO officer wants to talk to you".
I (with my wife and kid), went to VO window, VO Said: Sir, I want to clarify few things so I am putting your file for admin processing, it would take 2 days or several weeks to process.

---------
I dont know how long it takes for admin processing. I dont know what made VO to change suddenly.
Can anyone tell me please, what may be the next action? Because VO didn't ask any evidence or documents. What should I do next?

Hi All,
I attended interview on 29th Dec with my spouse and Kid.

VO asked me only basic questions, Employer, salary, role and highest degree. its almost less than 1 minute. while asking questions asked to pass all company related docs and i did it, she than asked to wait in lobby

After 15 mins, Indian lady called me to counter 1 and started asking how will employer get revenue to pay you as its an inhouse project(i said they have few clients and also have consulting division). then she started asking did u pay for Visa( i said i am working in top 5 IT company and i dont have to pay for visa as i already have good job here , they took me as my skillset matched their requirement).

Later on i passed Tax documents of employer and project documents. Than she kept project documents and gave 221g with admin processing cliked, no documents are requested either from me or frm petitioner. My passport returned.

Please suggest, if i can hope for good things??

New H1B - EVC Model - Approved Hyd
Today I appeared for an F2F interview at US Consulate, Hyd.

There is a huge crowd, mostly F1s and most of them are from Chennai. I think it has to do with the recent floods.

My interview schedule was at 10.30 am. However, they let us in by 9.30 am and made us wait until 11.00 am. At 11.00 am, security screening begins. Everyone was asked to empty pockets, remove belts and watches. After which we were moved to the biometric re-validation. They basically took our passports and finger prints once again. Then moved us to another waiting lobby.

At 11.30 am, we were asked to join the actual interview line. Its too noisy, complete chaos everywhere just because of the moving crowd and the interview booths are pretty close to each other. Hence it is easy to get distracted.

A guy standing right before me, an H1B applicant was grilled thoroughly. The VO asked all Qs ranging from "Why do you want to work in US", "How much did you pay for the Visa", "Tax Docs" etc His case was approved too.

Mu turn, I was mentally prepared for the hell to break loose. However, the VO just asked me three Qs.

1.) Who is your sponsor?
A.) xxxxx

2.) Who is your client?
A.) yyyy

3.) Where will you be posted?
A.) ggggggg

VO said : Your visa is approved, Sir

I thanked the VO and greeted him new year wishes and walked out.
