Advice needed for H4 Visa interview
Hello,
Need a suggestion for H4 Visa on this scenario:
In 2018 - I had applied for B1/B2 Tourist Visa for USA that was denied and the reason was stated as not having strong ties with the home country.
Present case , in 2020 - I married my long time boyfriend this year, who is on H1B - working in USA and I am planning to go stay with him on H4 Visa.
1. How does my prior Visa refusal affects my present case?
2. If asked , why I did not mention about my boyfriend (who was in USA that time also) in my last visa form, then what should be my answer to it?
If anyone has had this experience please share and also please suggest what my approach should be while answering if these questions are asked.

Me: I gave to her.
She told to wait for a minute and she went back with the documents and came back to the Counter.
She gave me a 221g admin processing and gave my Passport back and told we will email you back once it gets approved.
I told my Employer and my Client about this 221g.
My client got an email from Hyd Visa Office and my client responded back in a positive way on 02/21/2020.
Now I'm waiting for the final decision. Can I know how much time it might take to get the final decision. If anyone had same issue please share your experience. Thank You.

H4 visa has 3 years but i94 given only 6 months as per passport
Hi answering below questions will be helpful,
My daughter has 3 years H4 viss stamped and when she traveled to USA, port of entry given 6 months validify of i94, later I had to apply new passport for my chid and H4 i797 renewal, got a i797 approval for my child with new passport, now we traveled to India, but while going back, I hope she can enter USA with her visa stamp on her old passport along with new passport and new i797. any help in this regard will be helpful.

Here is my situation as of now
I have booked for H1 non cap stamping valid till Aug 2021 at Mumbai in April . My latest H1 petition was approved for 3 yrs with an amended LCA for 1 geographic location.
Place of empolyment 1 : Client 1 ( where i am presently working )
Additional worksites :
Place of employment 2 : Client 2 ( where we have an SOW until Feb 2020 - although I am not working there . This client is within 50 miles of metropolitan area)
Place of employment 3 : Own Company ( we do have internal projects within the product development division but i am 100% billed on Client 1 - again within 5 miles of metropolitan area )
Looking at the recent experiences of people attending interviews , one thing is clear . The questions are pretty standard .
1. What company do you work for ?
2. What is your designation and salary ?
3. What is your work location and job duties ?
4. Do you work for a Client ?
If the answer for question 4 is YES . Then comes the complication of providing client letter .
In my case ,the client is not willing to give any signed document confirming my presence here .
Here is what I plan to do and want to get advice from the community if this is a risk worth taking because my perm is in process and I don't want to disturb my situation now .
For questions 4 , I plan to say YES and say I primarily work as product manager with development responsibilites at Place of empoyment 3 and have short term client assignments and billable when needed .
Right now , I work at my own company and might get some assignment with the two mentioned clients in the future . My own company can give me the project documentation I need .
Is this response acceptable ? Can all the forum members review my thread and post their comments here . It will be of great help to me to decide if I can take the risk of going to India .

H4 denied but old H4 is still valid till july 2021
My husband moved to another employer last year when he still had a valid visa till 2021. New employer reapplied his H1 extension and got approval till Dec 2020. I am currently working on my H4 EAD which is valid till July 2021.
yesterday I got a notice that the H4 is denied(which was applied by my husbands new employer). they are asking me to leave the country and to stamp the Visa in India. My question is it really needed to go back to India to get it stamped? Or should I reapply my H4.
If I reapply my H4 I may get validity till Dec 2020(as it depends on my H1). Is anything happens to my EAD. Do they issue new EAD card with the new H4 validity?

H1B Visa Mumbai - Administrative Processing
Hello everyone,
First of all, thank you for sharing your experiences. I had my consulate interview on Feb 19th, 2020 8:45 am slot.
The officer said took my passport, mentioned that my visa is approved and gave me the standard white piece of paper which states that:
"Thank you for your application! Your passport and visa will be sent to the location you selected when you made your application...."
As of today, my case status is Administrative Processing. No documents are asked.
Is this a normal procedure? I have heard people collecting their passports the next day after the interview.
Does anyone who had the interview on same date in Mumbai in a similar situation?

12/05/19 - Attended Visa Interview at Mumbai Consulate and received 221g yellow slip. The ask was to submit LCA, Client Letter, Vendor Letters, including all layers (EVC Model)
12/16/19 - Employer submitted response to embassy via email
02/10/20 - Case status date updated,
Email received to submit passports
02/13/20 - Visa Issued
I know it's painful waiting time but have patience and it'll be all good.
