Hi, I had my H1B visa interview in chennali on 4th Mar'2011. The VISA was approved and the VO took my passport, HDFC receipt, BEP letter and appointment confirmation letter?
Did any 1 of u guys who had H1B approved had the same documents collected ?

Hello All, first i must appreciate you all for posting your valuable exp here....k as i am also very keen to appear in an interview in Mumbai, now they have denied to take any interview in Mumbai for an uncertain period...i don't know wt will happen but now i am going to Delhi...coz i feel td instead of waiting for Mumbai, i should get up with other location.....thxxx

Yellow Slip @ Hyd Mar 4
Here is my experience :
Vo questions:
1.what do u do..?
2.who is the client?
3.what do u do in the client place?
4. client letter ?(gave)
5.He asked 797,I-129,H1-petition copy.
Finally said, I cannot make a discussion now and will send the next course of action in 2 weeks and gave the yellow slip.He said there is no need to submit anymore documents.
My strong advice is not to go tocounter 13 (young male amertican)which is not in ur hands...
As far as I observerd everybody for h1 are getting some kind of slip.
Please be careful.
Anyone who attened interview at HYD and got a slip can contact me so that it will be helpful for both.send me a email @ [email protected]

H1B visa @ Hyd 221(g) Yellow slip
Interview Date: Feb 28
VO: Who is ur employer?
Me: xyz
VO: Whats do u do ?
Me: works as an Websphre Admin
VO: Where did u graduate from ?
Me: xyz university Virginia
VO: Who is ur end client ?
Me: XYZ (Client is a State Govt Agency)
VO: Can u plz show me me ur agreement b/w u n employer?
Me: Gave him (typed sumthng in the desktop)
VO; Can i see ur Client letter?
Me: Unfortunately the client couldn't provide me with the client letter due to state legal policy.
I gave him the email from the HR which i recieved explaining the same.
VO: He again typed sumthing in his desktop, started giving back all the documents which i gave him with a 221(G) yellow form and said sorry sir i cant tak a decision on ur visa ri8 now plz submit d following documents according the list at the nearest VFS.
Please advice me : The client is not ready to provide me a client letter what should i do ?
I do have Layers: Vendor=>Middle Vendor=>Prime Vendor=> Client, according to 22(g) they are asking for contract b/w client and petitioner so is it im supposed to provide all the contracts ?

H1B visa staming first time chennai consulate ..Very tensed ..Please help

I hope I find few good suggestions.
I got my H1B approved in Oct 2008. But I didn't had my pay stubs running till Oct 2009.So, I don't have pay stubs for almost an year and no w2 for 2009.
But I have W2 for 2010 and all months pay stubs.
I have Masters degree with a different specialization than I am working now.
My Consultancy is very small [ Just 2 employees]
Can you please let me know if this will be a risky case for h1b first time visa stamping?
I am planning to visit india in april and go to chennai consulate.
Please Please give me some suggestions !! I really appreciate it.

hi, i appeared for H4 visa on 27 july 2010, interview was good and got approval letter from officer, he told me i will get my passport with visa in 6 weeks now it is almost 7 months and i still not get any updates about visaand passport, they said it is in administrative process. it is very difficult to live alon with two kids, my husband is also very tense there. Plz cooment on this situation

it was very smooth interview just couple question like
1) why r u going usa
2) what is your husband company name
3) how long u been in usa
4) give me your husband 2010 W2 from
5) do u have any childern
6) where is your childern
Please i will advice keep confidence and go for it
......also stay away from roumers .......

I am planning to go to India for my H1 stamping in april/may. This will be my first visit after i got my H1 approved here. I am working since 8 months in USA. I have heard lot many people getting 221g and tensed whether to go to india or not. Please help me with your experiences in Chennai and Mumbai consulate. I am basically from Bangalore, can i take the interview at either of the locations or should i go only to Chennai. Heard its easy to get h1 stamp in bombay. I am employed by a consuting group and they put me on projects at the client side through a vendor. Your help will be obliged and highly appreciated.
