I got H1B Stamping on jan 04,2008. But my consultant asked me to wait upto 6 to 8 months.
Is it possible to go to USA with other consultant, who is willing to hire me? Is it possible to transfer my H1B visa even i am in india?. please reply asap.

Thank you for all your valuable experiences.I followed this site from last 1 year.It was very valuable as it made my interview went easy.
I am posting my experience with VO,hope it also helps.
These are the questions asked by VO to me:
· What project are you doing in present company?
· Give me all your experience letters.
· How much experience do you have in your
previous company?
· What is your degree?
· What is your project in US?
· Who is the client?
· Give me the project description.
Interview last only for 3 minutes.There were around 1400 people attended during that day.so,VO's took just 2 to 3 min.
Once again thanks to all.

i have attend visa interview on march 12.
VO issues 221 g blue and asked to send all the Petitioner's documents throgh VFS......
i have asked abt Passport status....(send/not)
he simply told me follow the given form.

Regarding documents
Is it necessary to send each and every document when submitting through vfs for every time or we have to send only the document which they have asked in 221(g) blue.
In my previous query form i had send all the documents which i got from my employeer (including pictures too) and the required document which has mentioned in blue form, but unfortunately i got another 221(g) to submit the same document which was mentioned earlier in the blue form. I dont know wether they have missed to verify that required document.
Please seniors help me who got visa after getting multiple 221(g)'s.

Do we need to send Original I797 for H4
Hi,
Can somebody suggest me in this...
My wife is going for H4 visa in this month and currently I am in US, so for H4 visa do I need to send Original I797, I129 and Original letter from Employer or copies will work.

Hi transfer
hello guys,
I got my H1 in october 2007 from a consultant..I didn't get the stamping and recently moved to UK because of personal reasons..I work for a US based company in UK and would like to ask my current employer to tranfer me to US. can I get the H1 transfer without informing my consultant who processed my h1 application or is it better I should inform them about the tranfer
what are the issues?

-Atteneded Interview on 15th October 2007.
-Issued 221(g) for lack of documents from consultant.
-Submitted documents on 21st Feb 2008.
-Embassy asked me to submit passport on 14th March.

First of all Thank you very much to all.
My wife and kids successfully got H4 stamping on 13th March at Chennai.
Interview went very normal and it's for 5 mins. only.VO asked H1petiton, Pay stubs and TAX returns that's all.
Once again Thanks for all info you are putting at one place for guidence for others.
