How long will the approval take???
Hi All,
My petition has been through the lottery. The receipt date is 28th April 2007.I have come across cases whose receipt date are in May and have been approved. Can anyone you please let me know if the approval is also randomly done or is their a process that USCIS follows for that.
The USCIS web site is not all informative. If anyone had a chance to see the processing dates it shows the same stale data.No idea why these guys are so irresponsible.

Successful stamping of H1 after 221g
Hello,

I would like to share my experience with all the aspirants who are eagerly waiting for their visa.

I appeared for H1 interview on Nov and was given 221g.I submitted all the specified documents along with my passport to consulate through VFS on 10th of April and was waiting for response.

Two week back i sent an email to consulte for the status and got the reply saying "Your case is still under process.Once the process is complete, consulate will inform you how to proceed further."

I used to track my passport through vfs site, till friday it was messaging "your passport has not been handed over to vfs,but last friday(June 15th) the message has changed to "your passport can be collected in person from vfs......"

I went and collected my passport on the same day from VFS.

After 62 days of long waiting , by God's grace I got my visa.

Thanks a lot for all the active participants of this forum. All the best for all the candidates who are waiting for their visa.

Regards,
AMG

Hi Guys..Best of luck
Hi Guys,
Its since long time i had posted my experience. I got H1B in Nov 2006.My sincere advice is to H1B asperents, be Positive and look into eyes of Visa officer and try to present all original documents(Remember US Consulate have information of every employer and their projects in US)as far as posible becoz when you present original documents you will be very confident and your body language speaks of your back ground.
Just remember i was refused visa in 2000 and after a long gap of 6 years i went to chennai consulate after being send back from US consulates at Amsterdam (NL) and delhi consulate. But all my documents were genuine. Interviewer questioned me for 40 mintues, very silly questions like whats java, whats jsp ect. But i answered them confidently. At last he doesnt have any other option except to grant me Visa. Guys so be genuine and trust your capability. One thing for sure if you have genuine experience and relevent qualification, defenently they will grant visa.

GUYS ALL THE BEST....

H1B application revoked and reapplied
Hello friends,
I had applied for my H1B visa in Stockholm US embassy.I was told I dont have my degree in computer(iam Electronics back ground) so they cant give visa to me and later told my experience was not genuine.I worked in India and Iam in student visa in sweden.I was heart broken when I heard my experience was not genuine because I really worked in the company. They keep on insisting to take back my application and apply when i have necessary qualifications.I told them I will go back to my home country and apply for visa.So after 2 days they sent all my documents which i submitted other than D156 AND D157.Now Iam having sleepless nights and planning to go back to India and reapply.Iam from Bangalore . I reapply my H1B visa with the same application in India. If so please tell consulate I can go and apply. Please help me.
