I got the following mail from Chennai consulate on Friday MArch 30th and i was given AAP on March 14th.
Please send the following documents via mail or courier service to:
Completed visa application form DS-156. Forms can be downloaded from http://travel.state.gov/visaforms.html
For all males between the ages of 16 and 45, supplemental application form DS-157
Forms can be downloaded from http://travel.state.gov/visaforms.html
3. One color visa photograph (50mm x 50mm, front-facing, white background)
4. Passport (must be valid for six months at the time of application)
5. Visa issuance fees: demand draft for Rs.2,300/-
6. Self-addressed sufficiently stamped envelope to return documents
7. A printout of this email
Please do not come in person.

Anyone got stumped recently with out the client letter if client project is specified. I was queried again for the notarized client letter and project description on the client letter head. Can anyone suggest me the next move if anyone in the same state.

papers dropped tts dropbox no response whom to contact
Hi everyone it would be a great favour if some one responds to my query.
i visited chennai counsulate in dec and was asked to get client photographs and notorized letter from client i could take photographs and letter but not notorized this time again they asked me to get a notorized letter from my client abt the project my role,responsibility and marketing analysis document and asked me to drop the same in tts drop box and which i did in the late january, for which there is no response till date and iam little worried abt that, hey can any one of u tell me whom should i need to contact and can u pls furnish their(counsulate's) email and phone number details.
pls advice me what to do so that the process speeds up is there any body who sailing in the same boat like me..
pls help me in this regard...

surname
I have no surname mentioned in my passport, so i filled the first name as FNU and whole name as surname in the time of taking appointment with VFS. Now my employer told me to add the surname as an observation in passport and i did so, but we can not edit the surname portion in ds 156. so what should i do? aplease share ur ideas

Now my Employeer sent the END CLIENT LETTER, AGREEEMENT LETTER, COVERING LETTER etc.,

administrative query for five months still in process
i attended for H1B VISA on November 2nd,the visa officer told that they needed to verify my documents and they told they are going for administrative query and it will took for two months,but it almost five months i taken my visa interview.
does any one had the same experinece for this much time.
i mailed to counsalte five times and i given call to them also but i got the same reply that my application is in process.
please share the exp if any one have the same problem but they got visa after some days.

Please someone send me the format for the query
"A complete itinerary of services or engagements specifying the dates of each service or engagement, the names and addresses of agent, the names and addresses of the actual employers, and the names and addresses of the establishment, venues, or locations where the services will be performed"
What details should be given? if someone have the answer format please send it to me and help me in getting the VISA...

You need not to carry 4600 DD again. You just carry the 221(g) form ie Blue form and that would be enough to get entry in consulate
