Considering Tech support exp for H1B Progmmaer/Anslyst job
This is reply for a person asking about " considering tech support exp for H1B programmer/analyst"

To my knowledge it will have BAD impact to add your tech support profile along programming job for H1B .
It will be considered good only if it is related to programming .
Dont tell me you were doing desktop/laptop/printer support.

Visa officer will ask you " In What way your previous experience it realted to current job "

Rescheduling of interview
Hi ,
I am Subbu working for a VLIS start up at Banaglore. I have applied for H1B through one of the known consultants in New Jersey. Although the online case tracking system shows that my visa has been processed on December 21st , i havent received the papers yet.

I scheduled my interview initially on Feb 14th and rescheduled it for Jan 31st. It looks like i may not be able to attend that interview as well.

I am planning to reschedule my interview. Can i schedule it at the Delhi Consulate using the same receipt.

Regards,
Subbu

As I told my wife to ask the counter people(Located entrance to the US cons Gate in chennai) whether to stand in queue or not as I came to know( from this site Thanks) that the queue is for the people booked from TTS. So they had a look and said your name is not in the list saying some of the L2 VISA's are postponed because of busy schedule and we have mailed you the next interview date even though my wife told it is from VFS. I got a call from my wife to verify the mail. We didn't receive any mail and VFS was still showing the original date. As she went personally to browsing center and verified the mails and she couldn't find any mail. So she went again and got in(because that fellow was not there in counter) with out standing in the queue. She didn't have any problem and the fellow who told like this was not there in the counter.

Cons asked only one question: When did u marry?

I guess that fellow was from TTS.

I felt if you have booked from VFS and ask TTS people, they misguide the people saying your name is not in list and we have sent a mail and its postponed to Feb 25th.

I am still wondering how come he told that your VISA interview is postponed to Feb 25th because of busy schedule for L2?

We need to take care

Thanks
Suresh
