I have attende h1b int on jan9th.They issued 221g with three queries.
1.end client photos.
2.letter from supervisor end client
3.itinerary of services.
I have submiitted docs through drop box and again i got 221g with 2 and 3 queries from above mentioned.Now a days most of them are answering these queries.could u please forward the format.

Dear everyone,
Iam in need of urgent help from some one.I had my H1b interview in chennai last month.I was interviewed by a lady ooficer.Iam a non IT background candidate and appeared for H1b first time.
I had been issued 221 g stating that my petition needs further ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING.Actually VO said that she is not convinced with my work experience and would like to investgate and that will take couple of months and will contact me later once it is through.i asked them to go ahead with the investigation.
Already its nearing one month and i did not got any sort of information.Had any body faced this kind of situation and if yes please write to me how the process went on and what was the end result.Should i keep some hopes on my case.I just want to know how is the investigation done and how much time is involved.
Please write to me as iam loosing my patience.

I went the chennai consulate today for h1 stamping. I was given a 221g and told they would contact me. They wanted to check with my company in India. Do you know how long they will take and how they would contact me?

Docs Checklist and coverletter format for Chennai consulate
Hi Everyone,
First of all i would llike to thank for hosting this site and secondly to the people who had spared sometime to share their experience. As i have interview next week, someone please send me checklist of all the docs i have to carry and cover letter format for the interview. Please consider this as urgent as i have interview next week

221 G - H1B Chennai
Hi friends,
Thanks for the postings so far.
Some tips:
1. Dont carry any bag(cell phone also) with you. If you have, handover the bag near the tea stall, for that he will charge Rs.150.
2. My timing was 7.45 am. I reached there at 7 a.m
There were two q's.
One from left side of the entrance and another one at right side of the entrance.
I stood for one hour in the left side of the q and later came to know that right side q is for the people having interview at 7.45 am
Please confirm before joining the q.
Went inside:
1. Checking of passport and appointment letter at the gate.
2. Issued blue coupon with three folds.
3. Went inside further and stood in the q (there were 5 counters)
4. One staff(indian) checked the documents and allowed inside after scanning the photo in d156.
5.walked over the staircase and entered another hall.
6. so many People were waiting in the hall.
7. Walked thrugh the hall and found another hall where some more people were waiting.
8. Two staffs(Assistants) were calling numbers.(that time no idea what to do).
9. You have to approch the lady(staff) for finger scanning.
10. be in the q for scanning. easy to follow.
11. Give one blue coupon to that staff(Assistants) and wait with another coupon and sit in the chair as told by the assistants.(dont worry if u have to getup and sit so many times). (normal is boring, have some movement for atleast 3 hours).
12. Oooops. your number is called. Again stand in the Q where u will be questioned.
13. My interview:
Me : Good morning, h r u?
He : Fine man, Thank u, how do u do?
Me : I am fine.Thanks.
He : Show me yr doc.
ME : Shown
He : Which company
Me : xxxx
He : Show me your degree certificate
Me : Shown,
He : Show yr experience certificates
Me : Shown three.
He : Wait a min,
he went inside for 15 minutes and came back.
Told me to sit there and i would be called.
He : Called my token no after 1 hour.(1245pm), What is yr project
Me : Explained.
He : Do you have Project details at HQ
Me : I explained and told him that ist is mentioned in the one of the letter from my employer.
He : Get me the project details thru drop box and handed over 221 G
Me : Thank you.
The 221 G is marked with th efollowing point:-
"A detailed and specific description of the internal development project to which the beneficiary will be assigned. Include a complete technical description of the project, time line, current status, no of employees assigned to it, location of the worksite and a marketing analysis for the final product."

about 20-25 mins !! Finally he gave me a letter saying
need UK degree certificate with a ref number on top
and same to my friend which also said we need to come
without paying any additional fee.
Was happy at last as the visa officer was cool ....
will have to wait for my final degree certf ! but will
get that only in jul ..... need to call the company
ppl and sort my things for this waiting time ......
please do send ur comments and advice accordingly ....

I had appeared for Visa-Int recently, it was simple and very good exciting..
Please follow these steps to get visa,
1) don't carry cell
2) don't carry sealed docs
3) your left and right index fingers should not have wounds or cutted, i mean should be accessible for scan
4) Carry product vision and the doc for role in your product,which u r going to work.
5) Atlast but not the least is BE-CONFIDENT while answering.-- YOU WILL GET SUCCESS

US VISA Seeker
Dishonoring of a visa appointment dosent really matter. I have seen one person unable to cancel the appointment, skiped it, later took another apointment in the same month(lucky he had dates available). Dosent matter unless fresh dates are available
