Hi Guys , this is for people who are yet to pass the gates of embassy's.

Nothing to worry, when u have the right and the required documents.

even if u don't have the right documents my only suggestion is to make a good Resume with a good Covering Letter .The moment u present before the VO handover the Covering Letter and the Resume to VO. make sure u knew each and everything mentioned in the Resume.

and be confident whatever u says and don't repeat the sentence,

it doesn't matter what u wear. it all depends on the way u answer him.
and one more thing is that don't think of taking any unsealed parcel(envelopes) in to the office .

even if u are not checked at the entry level u make sure that everthing is opened.

if you are thinking of opening that envelope with the VO he won't open( due to some security issues) and he will ask u to go out of the office premises and get that envelope opened and come back again..

people think of opening some tax issued(secured) papers with the VO don't think in that way............ he won't and he will throw u out

VO wants to give the VISA just support VO.
they are for us.

ALL THE BEST FOR THE PEOPLE WHO ARE YET TO MOVE TO THE EMBASSY............

bye

Granted Visa after twice 221g at Mumbai Consulate
Hi all,

It is not that much easy to get visa as earlier at Mumbai consulate. Now they are checking all documents in detail.

I got 221g twice for no reason. The COs don't have enough knowledge about W2C. They mis-intrepreted my W2C.

At last I granted visa yesterday.

Be careful with one CO, He is young, he always wears yellow shirt and combs hair back, wears specticals. I saw him always issuing 221g to all applicants.

Thanks.

Bad Experience
Hi guys and galz...

Let me share my experience with you. My interview was scheduled at 9.45 to 10.AM. But i went in at 10.45 AM. Paid the tts visa fee. Handed over my 797,129 forms blah blah and went to the interview hall finally at 12. I was asked to stand at a counter. The questions are here..

Me: Gud after noon sir.
Officer: Very gud afternoon Mam how are you?
Me: Fine
Officer: Whats u'r Qualification?
ME: ......
He took my I 129 document and checked for a while and asked me to sit aside saying he may call after some time.

Waited for another 20 mins.
Finally they asked us to stand in a que.

My turn. I know that i'm not going to get stamped at any cause coz the VO was not in a moood to listen anything. Some guys were rejected outright with no cause. He caught 221g with one hand and then called me. Not a single question..ticked some boxes and asked me to come later. I tried saying that i have all those docs. But no way. He decided to issue, so done with it. Isnt it funny guys. So please dont get disppointed with the output. Coz their mood plays a grand role in issuing visas. Lets pray that their wives or colleagues wont quarell withe them before they leave to office.

successful H1B stamping in chennai after 221g in Delhi.
Hi,
I went to US 2nd time 4 months back on H4 visa as my husband is working there on H1. I came back to India in December. Now, I attended Visa interview for H1B.
Note:- In VFS site it is mentioned that "Indian citizens resident in the USA and applying for a new visa to replace an expiring visa can request an appointment at any of the four visa sections."
So, when I was in USA, I booked an appointment in Delhi though I belong to hyderabad and suppossed to attend in Chennai. In Delhi, the VO said that they do not have enough facilities to validate my degree certificates as my education is from south. So, she issued me a 221g form in which it is mentioned that I can attend in chennai with out any appointment. so, I took a flight to chennai and next day I attended in chennai.
Documents needed:-
-Interview appointment letter
-HDFC receipt given for booking visa appointment.(4600Rs + 276 Rs) (If its thru VFS).
-A DD from national or international bank in favour of American consulate General, Chennai for Rs 2300.
-DS-156 (A 50mm by 50mm size photo of yours stuck and form should be signed at the back.)
-DS-157
-I-797, H1B Approval notice (Notice of Action) issued by Immigration and naturalization service.
-I-129 form, petition for a nonimmigrant worker.
-H1B Data collection and filing fee exemption supplement.
-Labor condition application for H1B nonimmigrants (Issued by US department of Labor)
-A letter from your company to US Consulate requesting for issuing a H1B visa to you.
-Offer letter & employment agreement from your company.
-Financial documents of your company (Record of federal tax liability) for atleast 6 months and (Statement of account)
-Company profile
-Details of the project (Timelines, phases and activities, tentative schedule and technology used in each phase), Its better if you show that project is atleast 1 yr.
-Current status of the project
-Number of people assigned to the project (Title, experience, # of resources)
Eg:- Manager, 8 yrs, 1
     Programmers, 4yrs, 6
     Testers, 3yrs, 2 etc etc
-Location Information of the work site.
-client and contact information.
-If you are mentioning inhouse product, then above details would be your companies address itself.
-If you are mentioning clients, then client contract with your company is needed.
-Description(Role played by you in this project, technical skills, experience) and responsibilities of benificiery worker(Youself)
in this project.
-Complete product description prepared by your company incase of inhouse project.
-Market analysis is also required in case of inhouse product.
-Atleast 15 photos of your company covering both inside and outside. (Ask your employer to take photos on some holiday when people are not working, but itshould cover whole office).
-Degree certificates along with marks sheets till 10th class and one set of xerox copy.
-Any other certificates like computer courses, certifications etc.
-offer letters and Experience certificates from your previous employers.
-Marriage certificate if you are married.(you can always say that your spouse and children will come to US later after you settle there).

Please pin all the above documents saperately and place them in the same order as mentioned above in your folder so that you wont get confused when asked for some document.

Note-If you are redirected from some other consulate to Chennai, then you have to fill up a e-form of DS156 by going to site
https://evisaforms.state.gov/ds156.asp?lang=1
and take a printout of it. The barcode on it is very important. If you dont have an e-form they will not allow you inside.

Interview:- 5 people in front of me were rejected. But I was confident as I went with all documents.
VO:- Hi how are you?
Me:- I am doing fine thanks, how are you.
VO-Pretty good.
VO:- Pass on your green folder (A green folder will be given to u with all documents arranged in it if you are applying thru VFS. If from TTS, you will be given a blue folder).
He checked my passport and found that my H4 visa got expired in Dec.
VO-When did u come back.
Me-.....
VO-Show me you degree certificates.
Me-passed on the same.
VO-Where is the convocation certificate of your MCA.
Me-I did not apply for my convocation. I just have my marks sheet. (He noticed first class with distinction).
He also noticed my experience in good MNC's.
VO-Show me your project details.
Me-Passed on project details and product description.
VO-OK, I am issuing you a visa and go and pay your fees in counter # 1. Have a good trip.
Me- Thanks you very much.
I was shocked that I was not asked any question about my employer, nor to explain about my project. But I arranged the documents very clearly which are self explanatory. He read everything himself and went thru companies profile and other things in his computer.

Note- Be confident and take all required documents. Success will be yours.

Regards,
Well wisher.
