L1 Blanket Visa approved on 28 Jan 2013
Thanks to the forum for helping me a lot for preparing in my interview.
I will be coming directly to the questions as all other steps have been expalined already
in many threads

VO: Good Morning
Me: Good Morning Sir, How are you doing ( with a smile)
VO: I am fine
VO: what is your specialization ?
Me: Explained the specialization as mentioned in DS160. ( Need to go slowly, clearly and maintain an eye contact with VO while explaining)
VO: What is the name of the Client ?
Me: Client Name
VO: What is the Indian Salary?
Me: I tell the total CTC per annum ( To a round off digit)
VO: what will be salary in US.
Me: Tell him the salary as mentioned in offer letter
VO: You are going to which place.
Me: San Jose, California
VO: what do you do?
Me: Explained him the roles and responsibilities.
VO: Your Visa is approved ( He start stamping the I129 form and keeps one I129 form and passport while returning me the other 2 I129 forms after stamping the approval)
Me: Thank You. Have a grt day.

Things I noticed.
1) Visa officer checks the confidence and attitude while answering the question.
2) Need to maintain the eye contact while speaking even if VO is searching into his system.
3) If mentioning any client tool then not to mention words like "specific/Proprietary" (One person Visa got rejected due this)
4) Make sure the explanation matches with I129 form.

Hope it will help others.

L1A Visa approved
I am bound to share my experience since this forum helped in my preparation and i dont see any experiences for interview taken in Canada.

The interview in Canada was pretty striaght forward ; my interview lasted for less than 2 mins. Here are my observations and the questions asked.

1. If you are from a big MNC company and you have more than 5 years of experience with them; they just approve your visa based on that.
2. The petition documents preparation and the way it is written is pretty important in this case
3. When i was called for the interview; it seems he already approved my visa ; he just asked me are you working with this X company since Y years and i just said YES and thats it he said my visa is approved!

Ofcourse, this is quite evident they pre-decide on your visa before the interview and luck definately plays a factor! since the guy who went before me on the same counter was inetrviewed for 25 mins and was not given the visa.

All the best

I -94
Hi,

I Visited US in 2010 for my business trip and while departure unfortunately my I-94 form was not returned. Now I have to attend a new category VISA and it would be great if it impacts on my VISA approval.

Based on information I got from sources, the I-94 form should be returned back and it will affect the entry to US on next time. Please advise your thoughts on this scenario.

Thanks
Suhasra

L1 B approved at Chennai Consulate on 12th January 2013
Hello All,

Firstly I would like to extend sincere thanks to all the contributers to this Forum. Everyone's experiences have been immensely helpful. i work for one of the Indian based IT Giants in Bangalore. I applied for my L1 B visa and my OFC and interview was fixed on 11thy and 12th of january this year. OFC procedure is very simple and I would straightaway go to the interview day.

The questions from the VO(Lady) were as following :

I wished the VO Goodmorning

VO: Hello Goodmorning Mam. How are yoy today?
Me: Am good. Thank you. How are you

VO: Am doing good . Thanks. Give me a minute please
Me: Sure
VO:So which company do you work for Mam
Me: YYYY XX
VO:And what is your specialization?
Me: I answered as per my DS 160 and BEP letter details
VO:How long have you been working in this?
Me: Around 5.5 years
VO:How many people in your organisation possess this skill?
Me: Am not exactly sure, but I guess none bcoz i was the only one to work from my company on this
VO:So you said you have 5 years experience?
Me: I have 5.5 years of experience in this specialized field, but my overall experience is around 6.6. years
VO: How long with your current company ?
Me :16 months in the same company and same project
VO:Previously which organisations have you worked for ?
Me: named both my previous organisations. My last organisation is a very prestigious US based product development organisation.
VO: I am almost done Mam. Give me a while
Me: Yes please (i was worried what is she going to do ? What 's her decision ?)

Finally......

VO: Slid my two I129s documents across the window and said "Mam please carry these 2 documnets along with you when you enter the US. I approve your Visa".

So thats it....truely golden words.....I could hardly believe that it was over and all my preparations payed off. It took heardly 2 minutes for the same.

My suggestions to all L1 B applicants:

1) Make sure your skill is really a specialized one. Mere development or testing profiles arent considered specialiazation however much you try to make them look the same

2) Prepare well. You just have 2-3 minutes to run your chance so do not take things for granted. Practice all ypur answers in front of a mirror if needed. Write down your answers and frame them in points

3)Your answers should not be flowery. Crisp and to the point answers are needed. Highlight certain specific terms related to your specialization which the VO should catch in the first place. They dont have time to listen to any history

4) Many lay stress on your dressing attire but that isnt any game changer. Confidence is the key to success. Be sure you dont fumble and blabber. keep yourself calm despite of seeing Rejections in the other counters.

5) Finally, make sure you dont fake. VOs are highly skilled in taking interviews and any cross questioning which you dont have an answer to, would lead you to trouble. Hence forth be honest and confident

Hope this helps!! All the best guys !!

L1-A experience
I was just looking for my Green card processing question and came across this forum. I just wanted to say that there is a decent and smooth way if you have enough funds to invest into yourself. I knew lawyers and did not want to apply with them as they will not do anything until soak up all juices from you. I found a company which helped me. Actually I was the first to do it and it worked fine. This company is TIELC and they do have this. They claimed one year to wait after I have signed up, but it took only 6 months and, voila!
Go to teachercertificate.com and read all instructions.
I hope it will work for you too.
