7. What is the designation in the present company?

9. Where are you going?

11. Have you completed any Bachelor’s or Master’s degree?
My interview date was 29-Nov, but due to the new Border Security Fees, I went on 30-Nov for attending the same.

Hi ZZZ, I also attended PA on 22nd and got the same reply but they retained my passport(i.e to submit new DD), which we did on 29 nov. After that there is no update. Did your friend whose PA reschedule has got passport returned?

Did you take additional fee DD with you on your first visit?
Do you have to take any other letter even if you are having DD of additional fee?
There is lots of confusion going around...any one who is from MUMBAI consulate please share your experiences...

Visiting India on vacation for restamping
All, thanks for these posts and the site.
Has anyone on this forum visited India for vacation and renewed their visa and returned back.
I have my petition approved and now visiting India for my brother's marriage. I need to go to consulate for stamping with my approved petition. Anyone with such experience, pl. share.

L1 Approved after query.
First visit, everything was pretty well, but still got a paper requesting list of docs from petitioner.
Second visit, I went with all requested docs and got approved.
Process is pathetic for pending cases. You never know how much you will have to wait out side embassy in long queue. It is frustrating if you are going with family/kid.
Only key is, keep mentioning about specialize knowledge and speak about it with full confidence.

L1 Blanket and L2 approved
I reached chennai Consulat at 7:30 Am.
Procedure:
1.First they verify VFS interview schedule form and Passport at gate.
2.At security places they verify all your files . You should not carry any CD's , Pendrives...etc (as per intstructions provided by the consular)
3.They attach Token number sheet on your passport.
4.Based on the token number a window number will display on screens.
4.You have to go the respective window number and they will verify all your required documents and take the finger prints of your both hands
5.Ask you to go to the next building to pay the HDFC Visa Fee
6.Next,Based on your token number your interviewer window number will display.
Interview:
Me: Good Morning Mam,
VO: Very good morning
VO: Do you have YYYY document
VO: Are you from YYY company?
VO: What is your roles in current org?
Vo: What will be the your roles at onsite?
VO: Why are you going?
VO: How many yrs exp in current org?
VO: How many implemenations have you done for this product?
VO: have you done individulally or as a part of team?
My Spouse:
Vo: Which city you are going?
VO: Belongs to which state?
Vo: When you got married?
VO: Have you gone before to US?
Then final golden words came.
Your Visa is approved and you will get within a week.
Please be confident during your answers.
