My L1/L2 VISA interview was on 30th Nov, and my VISA approved and I am expected to receive my passport within a week. Still, I have not received my passport and it is not yet handed over to the VFS.
How can I track the passport and can I call any enquiry numbers and find out ?

Today I had my L1B Visa Interview. My interview was scheduled at 0900 Hrs, there was very long queue. my interview finally started at 10:10 AM.
Question were -
VO - GM
Me - GM
VO - Your Designation in current organization?
ME - I told my designation
VO - Speclialized skill?
ME - #####
VO - WHats is that?
ME - given brief description about my specialized skill.
VO- Client Name?
Me - **** ***
VO - Duration of employment in Company??
ME - x Years Y Months
To My Wife -
VO - Marriage date
my Wife - xx-ZZZ-xxxx
VO - Is it arrange or love marriage?
my Wife - **** **
VO - How does the propsal came to you?
my wife - ****
Then the golden words - Both the visas are approved.

Passport not received yet
I had my interview on 29th nov in Hyderabad. The interview was straight forward. I even had the letter from my company regarding the new Fee structure.
He said 'Your visa is approved and u will received the passport within a week'
I was not given any colored form or any other form, which they generally give if they need some more processing to be done.
I havent received my passport till now. The passport has not been handed over to VFS till now.
Any idea whats going on ? how can I track the status of my passport in the consulate ? Should I call them up ?
I have mailed them but no reply.
Any one facing the same problem ?

My Visa interview was on 2nd Dec,2010 scheduled @11:45am. However, I was @1:30PM I had to face the interview with the consular. It was pretty easy and thanks for immihelp. Here are the question, I had to face:
1) Why do you need to travel to US?
I have to integrate, our company framework solution ABC with client application XYZ.
2) Who is the client?
xyz
3)How does this integration help the client?
With this integration, client will be in a position to offer access full life cycle data to users at single location.
4) Where did u work before to current company?

5) before that?
pqr for 1.5yrs
6) Whats ur salary?
I wasn't sure, whether he was asking for current or US salary, therefore I said:"Current salary with ABC is 123lacs/annum"
for 30secs he was looking at this monitor and then came the golden words.

L1B on Hold & Approved
Hi Guys,
To all the guys who are under going this situation here am sharing my experiences.
My interview was scheduled on 22nd of Nov and after completing interview they retained my passport and asked me to pay $2250 under new rule 221(g) and lettter from the company.
I submitted the DD $2250 on 26th of Nov in VFS office they took only DD + 221(g) form which they gave to me.
Dec 4th I got my passport with stamped VISA on it. Thank god I got VISA after so much of confusion.

Query regarding L1B Blanket
Hi All,
I have my L1 visa interview scheduled in a couple of days, but I have one serious confusion arising. Please try n help.
I had a previous L1 Individual stamping & I have travelled to US twice from my previous company. Now my new company has a blanket approval & they have filed a L1 blanket visa for me. I am a CIVIL engg graduate with more than 6.5 years of exp now in IT field. I am not really sure if I can go for a L1 blanket given my non CS background. I guess that precisely was the reason my previous organization has filed Individual visa for me.
Can someone please throw some light on this & what kind of questions I can get to face at the consulate regarding this.

My L1B visa was approved. it was very easy and cool. Questions were very easy . Be cool and confident. Dont forget to check with your company about new fess border security fees. It very important.Check with ur travel desk about it.
