What will you be doing in US? Analyzing, building and documenting my client’s ecommerce application.
Vo That totally vague. I don’t believe you. How long have your been working with this client.
Me  4years and 8 months.
Vo you must be kidding me . You have been working with the same client and same project for 4years 8 months?

Me  I started working for this project and this client from 3 march 2006 . I joined my company on 1st march 2006 and after 2 days of orientations I was assign this project. (all this while the VO was looking straight into my eyes and trying find sign of any nervousness or lie )
Vo  I still not believe you . Let start from the beginning.. what did you do till now for the project .
Me After joining this project , I went there the documentation for the YYYY application , I learning the end to end process flow for this application , then starting building and troubleshooting issues related to this application , later I was send to onsite for one year to design and build a enhancement project for the same application and thus after 4years and 8 months now I have specialized the knowledge of designing and building these application.
After this he gave me a strange smile and started typing .He then asked.
Who is your reporting manager? xXx
He works for which company? ( finally few easy question for me ) .
Then he said the golden words ( I am approving your visa , your will get you passport in 2 working days )
This was my 3rd visa interview with US consulate so I was better prepared and more relaxed then my previous experience. I previously have B1 rejection and H1B approved. And I reckon I got my visa just because I was confident. Although this confidence come with a very through preparation for all kind of questions and quite a few mock interviews.

My Visa interview was scheduled at 11.30 AM.
But we have reached the embassy at 10.30 AM.
After the security clearance, paid the DD at the cash counter and then asked to meet the VO.
The interview questions :
VO : Good morning sir
Me : Good Morning Mam.(Handed over the papers)
VO: (Screening the Papers and typing something in the computer.)
VO : Why are you going to US
Me : I was explained about my Project and the Clinet details. Then i have explained my role and specialization in detail....
VO: ok. good
VO: Why it is you only
Me : I told about my specialised skills and total experience, experience with the client and experience in the related area.
VO: Are you going to be working from Client's office or your company office in US
Me : I would be working from my company office
VO: Who is your reporting manager
Me : ZZZ
VO: How long you are working with YYYY company
Me: 16 months
VO: How Long you are working for this client?
Me: 15 Months
Then, the VO asked my wife few questions :
VO : How long you are married
Wife : YYYY years
VO: when did you met him for the first time
Me: interupted and said that ours is a Arranged marriage

L1B Visa got approved at Chennai
After the security check, we went to next place where i have handover all the required documents. Then, we were guided to go to another place where you need to handover the DD's. Then, we went & stood in the queue for interview.
The interview questions :

I would like say that,don't be panic,be calm, make a list of all questions that are posted in immihelp and get prepared for the same very well, especially on your specialized skills . Importantly, be crisp while answering. Importantly, pray god & visa will be yours.
