While discussing with someone here who have the same kind of issue, we discovered Home Affair ministers should clear the application, you can find some informations here (starting page 8) :

Seems some of cases (like us) are left behind on a side without any action (on my case since October 2017).
We are so just wondering, if a lot of us are suffering from the "waiting for clearance" issue ?
Please let us know if you are in the same boat.
Someone might have contacts, a good idea, and a collective action might work better than individual ones ...

OCI Status - Spouse of Indian Citizen | Atlanta
Since there are so many horror stories about spouses applying and having obscenely long wait times, I wanted to go ahead and offer my process.
I went through the Atlanta Embassy.

CKGS received it on the 25th, and I got in on the 26th.
It took about 3 months total. It actually came on time, if you count 60 working days only plus add 1-3 holidays from the time of submission. I emailed the Embassy on the 18th just to double check.
As stressful as waiting is, it is possible to get yours on time. I wish everyone else waiting and submitting luck!

OCI Processing delays - Instruction from Government of India
All,
At least from the last week I am observing the following important notice on CKGS website Home Page.
I have inquired CKGS about this, but all the update I got from them they mentioned this notice as per the instructions they received from government of India.
I am not sure how long these technical upgrades take?
Anyone has any other updates or observations ?

my son's oci in on my way to home
we applied for oci well in advance in March. But did not receive oci by end of May when we had to travel to India. opted for e-visa as oci was pending. we got e-visa approval in 2/3 days but oci was still pending even when we returned back from India.
I had to contact helpdesk to let them know about overall delays! Had to email/follow up multiple times. Finally on July 5th, I see updates in status on GOV website. It took more than 110 days to move status from Under Process to Processed. I came to know that MKCL systems were upgraded in India which has caused delay in process. Hopefully yours will be through soon.
