Just want to know how much time it will take to issue OCI at DC center. Seems DC is the slowest one/
I have submitted the documents on 9th March and current status is " Under Process at Embassy". I have to travel my May end so not sure whether I will get OCI.
So can I wait for OCI or should I apply short term visa.

sfo new minor oci card
Hello all,
my baby will travel to india in mar 4th week. On gov site, i saw that the card has reached the consulate on mar 5th. but ckgs app has updated on mar 6th that the card has been dispatched and it will take 1-2 weeks to arrive sfo. i called ckgs team and they informed that gov site’s message may not be correct and suggested me to raise visa on a safer side. my baby will stay in india for more than 60 days. so, e visa is not an option for me, unless i make a short trip to any closest country and enter with oci card. please let me know if anyone has any idea about whether i can get the card within the time frame.
