Indian Passport Parent Name Sequence
In the Indian Passport, in what sequence is the parent's name printed? I need this to correctly enter the OCI application. Is it--
A) First Name followed by Last Name?
B) Last Name followed by First Name?
In my case, my parent's name starts with Initials....Not sure what I should update? Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Acknowledgement date - Mar 20
So far no word, and the status checks (both at the CKGS and the GOI sites) indicate "Under Process". I'm getting a tad concerned although not-full blown worried yet. I'm wondering if the OCI in lieu of PIO takes longer than a regular OCI, since it appears that at least one person with a later acknowledgement date than mine has already received their OCI in DC.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

For adults, I am 46 and my wife is 42....If we get our OCI now, it is only valid for 10 years and then we have to reapply for reissuing the OCI....as per GOI, above 50 age, we have to reapply for re-issuing....
Cost of OCI = $337.....valid for 10 years.....Per year OCI Cost = $33.7
Cost of US Passport = $110 valid for 10 years... Per year US Passport cost = $11 per year
Cost of Indian Passport = $97.95+30 shipping= $127.95 valid for 10 years.....Per year Indian passport cost = $12.80 per year

For minors, we have to keep applying for OCI whenever the passport is changed....which means that $337 has to be spent every 5 years !!!!. Per year cost of OCI = $67.40
The cost of US passport for minors = $80+$35 service charge for 5 years...= $115
Per year cost of US Passport = $23
