Here's my story thus far.
I am a UK citizen who is married to an Indian citizen from Mumbai. We have relocated to India as we have a place in Mumbai. I applied for my OCI on the 16th September through my wife as an Indian spouse. I am still waiting for my OCI, I cannot believe it's taken almost 5 months and I am even in the country!
The process is simply frustrating and to complicate things further, I have a job offer from an MNC here in Mumbai, without the OCI I can't work here as a foreigner.
A simply dreadful experience and what makes me furious is once you submit an application to the local FRRO office here, once the application hits the MEA in Delhi, you can't even track the progress of where it is in their system. I have even go as far as tweeting the minister of external affairs here, sent countless message to the OCI support team - nothing. I am simply amazed at the speed in which some of your applications have been turned around, esp. in the US.
If anyone can offer any shred of support, that would be greatly appreciated as my brain is almost to the point of being fried!

Below are my application details:
Date of Acknowledgement - 20 December 2017.
I understand that SFO is about 60 business days. But based on the experience of the last 5 or so SFO applicants for New OCI for Minor, I have seen it being processed in a month or so.
Below is the trend that I see (for SFO applicants from this forum):
