Error in OCI card
My wife got her OCI card recently but there is an error in the US address printed on the OCI card. The state should have been AZ (Arizona) but they have printed AR. I have checked the application form and it shows ARIZONA. This an error at their end.
Has anybody experienced this?

OCI Renewal
Recently there has been process change notice from US Consulates Washington and Houston mentioning - OCI applications can be sent to any consulate irrespective of jurisdiction. I checked with CKGS and they mentioned this is allowed now. Has any one leveraged this process? For example, sending to NY consulate from Texas.

No change in CKGS status
Please forgive me, not sure if this is the place to ask this quick question.
How long did it take from when your application was delivered to CKGS to the status on CKGS changing to “received”?
For example, if your package was delivered on the 19th with the application and the US passport, did the online status change to “received” on the same day, or did it a take a couple of business days?
My package has been delivered but still not status change online, so just concerned and hope you can shed some light on this. Couldn’t find answers anywhere. Thank you.

Please help with my question regarding OCI card. My son went to India with General visa valid for 1 year.
Can he apply OCI card in India in order to stay longer once he get OCI card ?
Current visa stay is 180 days. Once he get OCI card, whether he stay longer or must be returned.
IF he exist USA to India with OCI card, people can stay longer may be up to 5 years.
Please give your suggestion

I am trying to apply for OCI reissue because of new passport for minor at NYC via CKGS. The documents checklist that I got once I completed the form is generic one & does not have specific documents required for OCI reissue.
