Irving/Dallas - Waiting for Oauth Ceremony to be scheduled
I applied for naturalization in 2020, Dallas location.

Got my interview on 1st Feb: 2021.
On 2nd Feb, the Status changed to "We placed you in line for your oath ceremony". Status since then has not changed.

A friend of mine got her interview on 25th Jan 2021, and his oath got confirmed on 1st Feb, in about 6 days.

Anyone in the same boat, waiting for the oath to be scheduled in Irving/Dallas location ?.

san Bernardino CA
Hello everybody, for months and I have been following up on this forum and this helped me a lot & today I decided to share my experience as a pay back for this help. I found also that there is less sharing coming from san Bernardino Ca office in regards to Citizenship. here is my time line
applied Jan 18, 2020
biometric was within 2 week
notice of interview jan 8, 2021
interview schedule feb 16, 2021 ( approved and oath same day)
during the one year wait time the online completion date was misleading so I dont recommend paying much attention to it.
nothing much to share during interview ( civic questions & English test was ok and officer went through parts of application didn't ask any documents but I had all of them specially tax ones.
I just want to encourage everybody that the citizenship is just a process so if everything was ok with you during the 5 years green card or 3 years marriage and you know it was real, you shouldn't worry & by all means bring all documents with you, even if you dont see it very important.
Good luck for everybody
God Bless you all

N400 evidence download question
Hi group:

I'm doing my N-400 ONLINE. My question is: After I downloaded all my documents it says" uploaded", whit a green check (meaning is all good I think), but when I click on it to see the downloaded document I'm getting this message in a new window " Encountered an unknown error.". Please help before I submit my application. Anyone one having the same issue or I don't have to worry about it, because of the "uploaded and green check"?. Thanks guys.

Interview: Washington Field Office (Fairfax)
Received Date: Feb. 24, 2020
Bio Reused and Interview: Jan. 14, 2021
Interview: Feb. 19, 2021
Oath Ceremony: Mar. 1, 2021

9 am appt. Nasty weather. Delayed opening. Arrived 8:35. Big crowd there. Long line outside. Shivering. Baby crying guts out. Frustrated. A lot of people enter quickly for oath at 7 and 8 am and line gets much shorter.

9:40 enter. Security. Check temp. Phone provided. Said to go up and wait. Wait and wait. Saw some funny and friendly officers doing stupid things.
Wife's appt is at 10 but she goes in earlier! I get a call from officer to go to the 2nd floor. I am already there. She come up. Calls my last name. No-nonsense officer, very professional, very serious. No smile.

Went to her room. Sworn in. Sat. Name and DOB. Gave Pass, GC, DL, etc. Directly to civics:
President WWII, why 50 states, 2 rights on DoI, 1 right USC has, state's capital, something else.
Reading: Where is the White House?
Writing: The White House is in Washington, DC.
No feedback!

N400 questions: residence, job, wife, parents, most recent trip, child, all Part 12.

Prints a paper: Congrats!

Asks if I want to do oath on Mar. 1? INDEED!

Goes out and brings the paper.

Thank you, bye. (Note: Wife did not get an oath notice, will come in mail in 2-3 weeks! Fingers crossed.)

Looking back, we first generation immigrants are really miserable people. Coming from an unpopular country in the world, and have suffered through Canada study permit, Canada PR, US work visa, GC, and now this, and having soiled my pants every time crossed border, I cannot believe I am DONE with immigration officers.

To those waiting: If you have nothing hanky-panky in your background, it is just a matter of time.

God bless you and God bless these United States and their great people for embracing this poor immigrant. Eternally grateful.

Can I apply for N400 or is it too early?
Married December 2017
Applied for GC April 2018
Received GC (for 10 years, skipped 2 year GC) in October 2020

Is it 3 years from marriage to apply for citizenship or 3 years as GC holder?
