Interview scheduled
Hi all,
I received a notification today that my interview is scheduled for end of March. I have an I751 case pending, the letter doesn’t mention bringing my spouse, should I take my husband with me anyways? Also in the list of documents, there’s no mention of tax documents, should I bring tax returns? How can I get the right format of my tax returns?
My timeline:
Applied: June (end) 2020
Finger print reuse: Dec 2020
Interview scheduled: March 2021
Los Angeles

I have a pending N400 application since 2020 and never received an interview date yet. Now, I want to renew my travel document to travel overseas. Is it safe to do so? I don't know exactly why my application is pending and I would be able to enter the country again upon returning... I have my green card and it still valide. Thanks!

Pending N400 For almost 3 yrs
Hello everyone, I really need your ADVICE/HELP regarding my N400.

Applied: January 2018
Biometric: February 14th, 2018
Interview scheduled in April 2018 for June 5th, 2018
Interview De-scheduled due to unforeseen circumstances on May 10th, 2018.

I did not hear from USCIS ever since then and I've made many inquiries, called USCIS almost every month until I got discouraged. Two years later, on June 5th, 2020, USCIS rescheduled my interview again and then canceled it due to unforeseen circumstances. I spoke with my attorney and he is not really helpful. I also conversed with many TIER2 immigration officers and they always tell me the same thing, which is your background hasn't been clear yet. Note that I don't have any criminal history and never break the law since I came to this country. I don't have patient anymore, this is just frustrating and totally unbelievable. I could understand waiting for 1 or 2 years, but 3 years is crazy... Please please please HELP me find a solution to this issue. Thank you!

N-400 Citizenship New Jersey
Hi Folks, We applied for US Citizenship in April 2020. Requested for status in Dec 2020 from USCIS Portal and every time I speak with the Agent, they say we are in the queue for Biometrics to be scheduled when an appointment opens up. Any experience/timelines you folks can share on NJ applications?

Previous employment and Pending Naturalization Application - Please help
Hello everyone,

I got my green card through my family. I have been here for over 5 years now and have a pending citizenship application. When I first arrived, I worked as a caregiver for an elderly woman every other weekend for approximately 7 months and got paid in cash. This was in 2015-2016. Basically, the full-time caregiver wanted weekends off and had 2 relievers take turns. I don't remember completing an I-9 form and I also didn't receive a 1099 or anything for tax purposes. I am aware that this is considered under the table/off the books. I checked my IRS account as well and for the years that I performed that job, there was no record of it. I didn't include this information in my N400 employment history. I was claimed as a dependent on my dad's 2015 tax returns and worked various other jobs in 2016 and filed taxes for all those from which I received a W-2 form. Should I bring this up at the interview? Should I amend my taxes for that year? Is this more trouble than it is worth? Will they take my green card away? I do not want to lie nor do I plan to but I also do not want to provide more information than what is asked. Please advise. I'm both quite embarrassed and nervous to disclose and ask this here but I am so worried and was wondering if anyone has a similar experience or who knows someone who had a similar experience. Thank you very much! Stay safe and well!

Got a call from immigration - Dallas office
Hi, did anyone recently have an interview scheduled and received a call from immigration stating that the usps didn't deliver the file and they cannot find a tracking number. Therefore, the interview will be rescheduled when the file arrives. If so, how long did it take them to reschedule the interview and did the interview have successful outcome? I waited for this n-400 interview for soooo long and feel so frustrated that I had to wait even more :(
