I-751 Case has been approved since July 15
Hi everyone,

It's me again. SO should I even believe this check status page at this point? Last status was Case Was Approved and this was back in July 15. I have not received a notice, a new card, nor any updates on it. And it's been so hard to connect with a USCIS representative. Last representative I spoke to months ago said that I will receive my new card within 3 weeks and yet, here we are without it.

So what is the usual wait time for getting approved for I-751? I filed last August 2019.

And has anyone even connected with a USCIS representative recently? It's always passing me to the automated help which has been no help at all. lol

NYC timeline
Hi friends! Want to wish you all a happy thanksgiving holiday and ask if anyone in NYC has received N-400 interview schedules recently?

I applied in December 2019 from Manhattan, completed my biometrics in January 2020, moved to Queens in mid 2020, and have not heard anything since then. Seems like they have been scheduling interviews for early October 2019 filers recently, so safe to assume we get notified about 14 months after filing? Look forward to hearing from anyone with more updated information, thank you!

Early Filing for N-400 and concept of "continuous residence" of 5yr
Good afternoon to the community.

I want to determine the earliest date I can file for naturalization for my specific case. I was admitted LPR on 02/06/2016 (“Resident Since” date on my GC) when I activated my Diversity Green Card (Lottery) during an “activation” trip (first time I entered the US with my newly approved Green Card). I spent one week in the US on temporary housing for this activation trip, then moved back in Europe to prepare my final move until 5/5/2016 (less than 3 months after) at which time I travelled back to establish myself for good in the US. I meet all other N-400 basic requirements, including physical presence > 30 months.

My question is therefore:
- Can I already file my N-400 under the 90 days Early Filing rule since 11/06/2020 (90 days before my 5th LPR anniversary) ?
- Or, would USCIS consider that my “continuous residence” starts instead on 5/5/2016 and therefore the 90 days Early Filing rule for me would start on 02/05/2021 (90 days before my 5th year anniversary of "continuous residence" start date) ?

Thanks for your help

I751 Extension Letter Expires in December
Hi Guys,

So, I applied for ROC May 2019 (i751)
Conditional GC expires June 2019
Received Extension letter June 2019
I751 Biometrics Oct 2019
Case transfer to Potomac from Texas Feb 2020
Received transfer letter Feb 2020
Filed N400 Apr 2020 (3 months opening window)
July 2020 biometrics will be reused
Extension letter expires Dec 2020
Have not received an interview date. The case processing time was at April 23 2020, two days ago. And now it is saying April 9, 2019.
I am so disappointed they were closer to my receipt date and now they have gone backwards.

Should I wait or call USCIS and request another extension letter.

Please advise. Thanks.

Do we need a lawyer for applying for citizenship (employment based 5yrs green card)
Just wanted to get your thoughts on whether we need a lawyer to help with applying for citizenship. And if it is a complex process. We will be completing 5yrs on green card soon. (Employment based). Any help appreciated.

What does it mean the message below?

Thank you!
