I have been following this forum for sometime now, and so many questions have been asked about the slow processing at the USCIS Dallas office. Please can someone advice on what do about this especially November 2019 filers?
My timeline:
I applied online November 26 2019
Biometric scheduled- November 29 2019
Biometric received- December 18 2019
Up till now it has been -
You do not need to do anything at this time
We will let you know if we need anything else from you as we continue to review your application.
Please advice the process is so frustrating and unfair to Dallas filers as most of us missed out of the elections which I wished to participate so unfortunate. Thanks

OATH CEREMONY SCHEDULED
Finally my immigration journey is about to end. I had my citizenship interview today at Montgomery field office, Alabama.It was a 3 year rule and the entire duration of the interview was just like 20 minutes. Immediately I left the building, my case status change from INTERVIEW SCHEDULED to YOU ARE IN LINE FOR AN OATH CEREMONY. After about 2 hours, the status change again to YOUR OATH CEREMONY IS SCHEDULED. Now waiting for the letter in my mail box to know when my oath ceremony wil take place. Thank you all .

Hi everyone - I have a quick question. Anyone here applied for N-400 in November 2019 in Dallas and got their interview scheduled?
I applied on November 9, 2019 and still have heard nothing. I had gone to the field office in Feb of this year and I was told my case is ‘in line’ for interview to be scheduled.
I also have a pending I-751, since October of 2018. The extension stamp I got in my passport is going to expire in a couple of months.

Has anyone submitted their N-400 form in May or June 2020 and been scheduled for biometrics? It has been 5 months since they have received my case and I have not been invited for biometrics yet!

Now, it’s my time to tell you about my experience and I hope it helps some people.
Sent paper application in May 2020
In beginning August got message about biometrics being reused (I was getting anxious about not getting my biometric appointment for so long)
In September got my interview scheduled in the beginning of the month, and had interview at the end of it.
Oath ceremony was the same day! I could hardly believe it.
I ordered passport a week after my ceremony and had it delivered this week :)
Durham office is very quick and organized. I was pleasantly impressed :)
