Handwritten changes to US Passport Application DS-11 after printing online form
Hello
Today I submitted passport application form by taking the print out of DS-11 form (online form fill). After I went to USPS office, person over there asked me to fill in the blank fileds like Emergency contact. Will my application be rejected because I made changes after printout? Has anyone done this and still got application accepted?

Just an update to put the timeline in perspective. My filing date was November 12, 2019. I just received the interview notice for December 2020. It appears they are processing 2-3rd week of November dates right now.

Los Angeles interview
Hi All,
I had my interview today and I passed the English, civic, and history test. But in the end they gave a form saying that a decision cannot be made at the time of the interview.
The interviewer said that they will request additional information to make a decision on my case and if I have any questions.
I asked what additional information is required as I have brought with me a lot of additional information just in case (I also submitted a lot online and the person interviewing me noted that in the interview)
She said that tax information is needed but when I showed her the tax she said it’s a different thing. I tried to understand what more information she needed so I can provide it to her but she was very evasive so I dropped it.
She also asked me to sign a document and to go over it, in the document it showed that I was unemployed but I’m not I noted that to her and her reply was it’s ok just sign it I can see on my side that you are employed and she made a note to cancel that add on her side (I did not see it so I can’t verify this)
I applied through marriage (married 7 years) applied after 6 years married. (The USCIS interviewer said I applied after 3 years of marriage)
Does anyone have similar experience?

N400 application processing time.
I have submitted my n400 application online in Apr 2020 from california. Its been more than six months now that I have not received biometric fingerprint appointment notice. I checked online its saying application is taking longer than expected. I saw some people here got their citizenship within 7 or 8 months! Which is really quick. Anyone else havent heard anything after six months?

Finally I am one step closer. Just got notification on my USCIS online account that they are going to reuse my previous biometric.

Interview cancelled at Norfolk, Virginia Beach
I applied on March 3rd week 2020. My citizenship interview was scheduled at Norfolk office on November 19th AM but got a call today (Nov 16th) saying that it got canceled due to a scheduling conflict. Anyone else had a similar experience? Just trying to wrap my head around at this last minute notice as I have to make lots of logistics preparation only to find out that I have to wait longer and have to do another redo.

About online account
Hi guys,
Just a quick question please. I am about to file my N-400 application online but confused at one point. Is that online account same as the account we use to see our cases when we check our case status?
I think it is not the same account and we need to create a uscis online account but just want to be sure with your approval & experience guys.

About Military N400
Has anybody knows about the N400 military processing time. Is USCIS following the same processing time with civilian or its different. I just submitted my N400 last week based on military service member.
Please do share your experience if you file based on military too or if you know anything about it.

Feb 2020 - Applied online, 5yr employment based GC
Mar 2020 - Attended Biometrics appt
Oct 2020 - Interview scheduled
Nov 2020 - Attended interview, approved, took oath
Nothing remarkable about the interview. It was along the lines of what many people posted.
Info that may help others:
1. Orlando field office is currently doing same day oath. They're combining 10-15 approved people and administering oath. So you'll wait for all the slots to fill after your own interview finishes.
2. For me the whole process took 2.5hrs (in-out).
3. I had received a red light camera violation notice in Florida and paid the fine. I chose to answer Q23 as "No" but brought it up during the interview. The IO brushed it off as inconsequential.
