Oath Ceremony Update
This is my interview experience https://www.immihelp.com/experiences/post/citizenship-interview-today-0915-513195/

And wanted to give an update regarding the Oath ceremony. It was scheduled 2 days after my interview and today I saw the letter that confirmed the date:

Oct 1st at 2 pm. So pretty quick and within 2 weeks and half.

I am excited to finalize the process :) Thank you for sharing all your experiences and your useful tips!

Need Advice on Naturalization Interview
Hello Everyone, I need your advice on my situation.
I was married to a US Citizen, and I applied for citizenship under the three year rule.
I applied in December 2019, and at that time I was in martial union. We were having issues with the marriage and my ex wife told me in January 2020 that she wants a divorce and does not want to negotiate any further.

In February 2020, she went to live with her parents and in May 2020 we filled a divorce. The divorce was granted on August 2020.

I have an interview on 10/06/20. I would like to hear from anyone who has been in a similar situation where when they applied for citizenship they were married and at the time of the interview they were separated/divorced
How was your interview experience

Second N-400 interview
After doing my first N-400 interview December 3, 2019. IO said I passed the civics test but no decision could be made. I got a notice that on 09/18 an interview was scheduled again. This is very confusing. In my first interview the paternity of my daughter came up, my wife had an affair and she is not my biological child hence me listing her as step child in the application the IO asked if I stayed in the home I said yes we never separated and we worked it out. That was the only thing he seem to have taken issue with. Now he wants me back for another interview it’s been almost a year since my first interview

N400
Hello everyone,

So I finally got my certificate here is my timeline

Applied I751 May 2019
Biometric October
July 2020 I applied N400 while my I751 was still pending.

Biometric reuse August for N400 and I received the notice for that.

August interview scheduled for I751and N400 for September but different date like 20 days between.

Early September interview date for only I751 but before IO start the interview I asked if I can do both interviews today because I have another interview for N400 next 2 weeks and he said wait let me ask my supervisor after 10mins came back and yes we can do it, so we did I751 first with questions of how you meet and when I proposed to my spouse he said finish my spouse has to wait for me outside to do N400 interview we start N400 interview with 6 questions I got them right read and write sentence at the end of interview he gave me N-652 with checked passed test and recommended for approval. 2hours after my I751 for approved and card has being produced.

5 days later I751 update card was mailed to me.

10days later N400 update approved.

13days later I received a call from immigration officer asking me if can come next day for the Oath I said yes sure I went there and get my certificate. Thank God

Any updates from the Atlanta office? I feel like that’s where cases go to die. It’s been ghostly quiet out there.
