How to..?
Hi!

So here's my timeline so far:
04/21/2020 application received by uscis
04/23/2020 NOA, Receipt notice mailed
04/30/2020 NOA, receipt delivered to me

I remember reading here that many of applicants mentioned that they were able to see on the (uscis?)website the approximate estimate completion time for their n400 application.
Can anyone share where could I look up that?
I do have an account with uscis set up, however I do not see any estimate completion time on there.

Thanks and good luck to all

Applying for N-400 after I-751 Married to citizen

Hello everyone, I'm applying next week for my N-400, I'm married to a US citizen, been resident for 3 years and just got my 10 years Green Card. I used someone to help me before with my immigration processes, but now I want to apply for citizenship by myself as I don't think it's difficult.
I'm applying online and I have a few questions:
1- What documents shall I attach with my online application?
2- I have been a US resident since 2017. When I fill my travel history, do I fill for the past 5 years? or since I became a US resident?

Thanks in advance for your help, and good luck everyone.

N400 time to file
Hello all,

May 5th, 2020 will be 90 days from my 3 years mark (4th of August) in the USA and I will be filing N400 online by myself.

Is there anything I should be wary of? Also, what is considered the official date of filing? The date I submit the documents online or the date they receive the payment?

Thank you and stay safe!

Naturalization Oath Ceremonies
I just noticed that Naturalization Oath Ceremonies will resumes after May 3rd not June 4th according to the USCIS website.
Also, courts are looking into using zoom meetings for court cases and that could be a path to do the Oath over a zoom meeting.
We can only hope!!

As of March 18, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services has temporarily suspended routine in-person services through at least May 3 to help slow the spread of COVID-19. USCIS staff will continue to perform duties that do not involve contact with the public.
USCIS will automatically reschedule your ceremony. You will receive a notice for your rescheduled ceremony by mail. If you do not receive a notice within 90 days, please reach out to the USCIS Contact Center.

Moving
I moved from one address to another in the same city, same zip code too. I updated my new address in my online USCIS account. Do I need to submit AR11( change of address) too?
I read on some USCIS websites that we can either use AR11 or online account to update our address.

Interview
Hi guys I was scheduled to show up for my interview tomorrow but I received a mail cancellation because of coronavirus 3 weeks ago which means I can’t do any interview. I got a new job in North Carolina and I will be moving out of Maryland. My questions are

1) Should I update my address
2) will it slow my citizenship interview date down because I already have a date schedule for April 28 In Maryland
3 ) should I just update my address and expect my application to join the n400 interview list in North Carolina
4) also my passport will expire in May and according to the n400 letter I got I was told to show up, with my passport among the list of items to bring along for interview.
5) if I get a date sooner than expected will the interviewer understand that due to virus I was unable to renew my passport .

Kindly input your candid advise please

N400 noa
Hi!

Can anyone please share how long did you have to wait to receive NOA on N400?
Mailed the package on the 18th of April and still haven't got the notice of action.
Can't trace the payment too, since it was paid with money order.

I know it's all about waiting when it comes to this forms and entire process. And it is a lot more fruitful to watch the trees grow than to see any progress of uscis especially these days...but still

USCIS Offices Preparing to Reopen on June 4
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services temporarily suspended in-person services at its field offices, asylum offices, and application support centers (ASCs) to help slow the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).
USCIS is readying offices to reopen on or after June 4.

Filed N400
Hi, everyone. I haven’t been on this website in awhile. So I filed my 10 yrs green card on April 06 2019, and I did biometric November 14 2019. On April 24, 2020 I did my N400 application online. Received my case number, and they updated my case. So, It was updated on the 25 that my estimated case completion time is 7 months from filing date (November 2020). They will begin reviewing my application by conducting a background check to identify any issues. They will also schedule biometric appointment to collect fingerprint. I’ll let you know as the case updates. Still haven’t received my 10 year green card. Thanks
