Plano, TX Oath Ceremony
Hi All,
I called the Plano Events Center this morning about the Oath ceremony scheduled on 3/18 and they said that they have decided to cancel any event with more than 50 people. I also called USCIS and the information is still showing the Oath ceremony as active. Please provide updates if you have any.

Oath ceremonies
"Attendance at oath ceremonies will be limited to candidates only to allow for social distancing. An exception will be made for individuals requiring assistance or an interpreter.
The daily oath ceremony format will be modified and include only statutory requirements, yet will continue to honor the dignity of the occasion. Should a candidate wish to delay and participate in a full formal ceremony on a later date, the candidate should inform the interviewing officer."

When I took my interview, I saw an empty area, which used to be biometrics.
I told my wife, you can get 50 people every 2 hours in there for the oath if needed.

I applied for citizenship in 11/27/2019
In 12/12/2019 go to my biometric screening
I got my schedule for interview on 1/24/2020 for 2/25/2020
Next day got my application approval, on 3/9/2020 got my appointment for oath ceremony
For 4/2/2020 so excited of how quickly everything was moving along
But now I am not sure when they will reschedule my ceremony due to the ceremony location is closed until May
Any else from the Milwaukee area with the same situation as mine?

Hi!
I had my interview on Thursday. My application was recommended for approval(yay!).
However my online case is still saying “we scheduled your interview”. Has it happened to any of you? How long it usually takes to update the case?
Also a question for New Yorkers: how long did you wait for an oath after successful interview?

Oath ceremony scheduled in Plano, TX
My oath ceremony is scheduled for 3/18 at the Plano Events Center, Plano, TX. I called USCIS customer service today and the event center today. They both had no updates on the cancellation. I also checked the online account and no updates. According to the situation with the Covid-19 everything is being cancelled so far, but someone from New York had the ceremony today (see in the posts)
