N400 interview question
hey guys, I had the naturalization interview yesterday. The interview went well & I passed the Civics and English and N400 reviews. But at the end the interviewer asked me if I brought my birth certificate since it was not in my files. The thing is I dont even know if I have/can get one, I am having my family check back home to see if they can find it for me. She gave me a paper stating that I passed the first section but that she would have to review and check if she can recommend me for approval with out the birth certificate.
Have you guys seen this to cause an issue or delay the decision on cases ?

IO went through my application and asked me questions that were there
I had 2 arrests in 2009 she didn’t ask why or anything because I submitted everything and I had my lawyer present for interview but he was just sitting there
She said everything is good but she had to have her supervisor approve the application

N-400 Interview (Naturalization)
Request your help/advice on the below,

I've got the green card thro' employment. Now it's the time for N-400 interview :-)

FYI, There was an case against me in my home country during 2003 and eventually it got dismissed by the honorable judge during 2007 on my favor and I've filed an divorce and it got approved/acknowledged on the same year

Accordingly I've applied for an H1-B lottery and got selected and travelled to USA during 2010. During my tenure/period in US from 2010-2019, I've never travelled outside USA and having an good moral character and my credit history is EXCELLENT !

At the time of applying for N-400, I didn't disclose as this was happened in my home country (more than 12 years) and felt not required. My friends also suggested the same
My concern is, all of us had to undergo an FBI criminal check worldwide and once cleared, we've got an interview letter .

Is it an good advice to disclose during my N-400 interview to the IO ? If he asks, why it wasn't on the application, what should be my response ?
Does it provides a ground for denial of my citizenship ? But I have those court proceedings copies as well

Please suggest !

Travel while waiting for Oath - Green Card via Asylum
I got my green card as an Asylee. Applied for citizenship on April 2018. Interviewed at April, 2019.
Did good at the interview but I was handed the letter with "Decision can not be made". As of today, No update after that.

Now, I have to travel to my Origin country end of September. I'm from Nepal.
Should I travel on Green Card? I still have valid passport from Nepal.
Has anyone had travel to the their origin country and return as a Asylum green card holder?

Please share your experience if you have/had similar situation.

Thank you, Sam

No change no oath :(
My case says "we have scheduled your interview" since June 24th. I have attended my interview on August 01st 2019 and passed yet no change. There hasn't been any change to my case since 52 days. I am getting anxious and impatient. What should I do? Does anyone know the number I can call for more information? I am waiting to receive the oath letter.

St Paul- Minneapolisonlinefiler
Hi everyone,
I am from Minneapolis, Minnesota. I filed online in 2/15/2019 and I have already done my fingerprints on 3/06/2019. They have received them and I am still waiting for the interview. I was wondering if there are any fellow Minnesotans and I want to know about their experiences.

Thank you,
