Denver Naturalization experience,
Application received 8/16/2016
Biometrics scheduled 8/21/2016

LONG WAIT PERIOD

Interview scheduled 3/1/2017
Actual interview and Approved 4/6/2017

Applied for name change, so oath ceremony at the court house 5/26/2017

9 months, countless hours checking for updates, 1 cancelled international travel plans.

My sister applied for citizenship in the southern California office (I don't know which one to be exact) 1-3 months after me, and even with name change, her application was processed a lot faster than mine. Be ware, Colorado residents.

Dallas Field Office
After waiting for almost 7 months, finally got an email today saying "Interview Was Scheduled". I did call in Thursday to inquire about the case twice but was given the same answer "the case in under normal processing time".

I don't know by calling them triggered anything or it was really my time but I am happy that they scheduled the interview.

PD: 10/27/2016
Case in line since 12/19/2016
Interview Scheduled: 05/26/2017

N400 Columbus, Ohio
Dear fellow in the same boat,

I submitted my N400 app on 8th of November 2016, went through Fingerprints but the Status yet to be changed. No updates after FP.

I raised few expedite requests for deploying overseas with Army as linguist; the first time they direct me to local office to submit the documents and I took my offer letter, the tests that I passed and other docs but the field office did not even looked at my docs and said they can't do anything and said this is the first time they seeing such kind of request being directed to them which was a surprise to me.

Raised the second expedite request so I can take the letter written by my company specifically to USCIS indicating that I'm deploying and the status of the request was saying "Completed" but did not receive any notice after 10 days, so called the customer service and they said they declined the request because the case is still pending for background checks and also said they sent me an email which I did not receive any email whatsoever from USCIS.

I'm not sure why this process would take this long especially when your record is clean. I worked with Army as translator for over 7 years and that's how I moved to States. There is no one that you can talk to directly and explain the situation- this is really frustrating.

Any one from Columbus, Ohio in same boat?

Any advice is appreciated.
Regards,

Los angeles field office
Hi guys,

It is my first time to write here.
My husband and i apply for citizenship on august 2016.
PD: 08/27/2016
Bio:09/20/2016
Since then until now our online status never change from BIOMETRICS HAVE BEEN SCHEDULED!!!!
The processing time for los angeles field office from last update was 08/22/2016 as of march 31,
Now i am sure it is passed from our cases, we sent emails from our online accounts to them, the answer for my case was that :
my file is in los angeles field office right now and my issue will be addressed well with the los angeles office, that's why officer wrote me that he forwarded my message as an inquiry to them and gave a refferal ID,said they will contact me regarding my case when they review it,13 days passed until now nothing,i called them yesterday the lady said should wait for 30 days from my request if they did not contact me should call them back,
The answer to my husband email was his information already entered to the system which schedules interviews in local field office and he should wait until slot will be ready!!
We both took infopass for next week,
We are so confused and can't understand what is happening?!!
The people from novemeber and december are going to interview in los angeles while we are waiting for almost 9 months and our online status even never change from finger print status, and now they are telling us our file are in los angeles field office so why we are not even in line for interview yet?!!!!
How come Since march 31 that processing time was 08/22 they could not able to schedule interview for us until now!!!!!
Guys can you give me some advises please?
Is anybody else from los angeles in the same both like us?
Please reply me,I really appreciate.
I am so worry and so tired from waiting and waiting.....

NY Queens office
Hey guys,
I don't have a big of an update, my case timeline:
N-400 PD 01/17/17
Biometrics letter sent on 02/01/17
Biometrics done on 02/14/17
Status changed to "Case is in line for the interview" on 03/03/17

Since then nothing changed. I called Customer Service every two weeks, the last time was 20 minutes ago. The lady said that everything looks good but I just need to wait for the interview date.
What puzzles me is the fact that some people sent their application after me for the same field office and they already had their interview.

Any words of wisdom from you guys?
Thank you!!!

09/21/2015 Scheduled for a fingerprint appointment.
10/2015 Fingerprints

07/2016 Passed the interview

....Over 1 year 8 months after mailing application and 10 months after the interview, I received a letter from USCIS " According to USCIS records, you haven't responded to the Request for evidence (RFE) that was mailed to your current address". I never received it. Has anyone experience this?
