Does anyone have any experience changing the oath ceremony scheduled date to an earlier date?

One year later
Just wanted to share some information about my case for all of yall who have become worried or impatient about the N400 processing time.

Field Office: Dallas, Texas
Application sent: May 2016
Application received: June 20 2016
Bio-metrics appointment: July 11 2016

Its been almost 1 year since i submitted my application and i was becoming worried that my application had been denied or lost in the process. The online status had never changed from " application received and we are reviewing your case".

This morning I checked my email for another unrelated reason and i saw an email from USCIS. Logged in to my online account and Finally!! " Interview scheduled". I downloaded the PDF document and I see i have been scheduled for an interview on June 22 2017.

Not sure why it took almost a year but I sure am happy that the case is moving forward now. Seems like an issue for applications submitted between May-June 2016. Some people I know who applied before or after May-June 2016 went through the entire process, from sending application to oath ceremony, in about 3-4 months.

Just be patient guys....it will happen.

Boston center - N400 - Case Is In Line For An Interview
Hi,
I applied on Jan'17, Finger print happened on mid Feb.
Today I got an update saying 'Case Is In Line For An Interview' 'we started the interview scheduling process for your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization'.
Whereas when I check in 'https://egov.uscis.gov' for Boston field office, it shows priority date as June 28, 2016.

Do anyone know where is the disconnect? If they really going to set up the interview scheduling, how much lead time I will have for interview?

Really appreciate your input.

Thanks

Misspelling on name on N400 found after submission.
Hi
While I was reviewing my N400 application form which was sent out in April, I just realized that my arrtoney made typo error on my name (part 2.2 name exactly as it appears on permanent resident card )
My attorney said it is not a big deal and we can fix it during the interview but I am panicking now.
Is there anybody has similar situation with me and share your experience how to dealt with it?

My PD was April 7
My FG was done May 1

Thanks for your help in advance

N-14 NOTICE OF CONTINUATION
Hi I have an experience that seems unpopular.I went to my naturalization interview in Mount Laurel new jersey on 04/29/17 and the IO was nice and all.I passed the test but at the end the IO gave me a form N-14 to send evidence. I sent the evidence 2 days later & shows receipt on 05/03/17. Now my question is does anyone has a similar experience?how long do they normally take to reply? Please share your experiences on N-14;it is indeed unpopular on these threads.

Selective Service Question, Dallas, TX
Hey all,

One of the documents needed for citizenship interview that you should have on the date is " Any evidence of selective service registration". So, when I became a Green Card holder and arrived into the U.S, I was 30 years old and no one " Required" me to enroll or register for Selective Service; upon the regulations all young male age of 18 to 26 are supposed to register; with that being said,What should I have to present on my interview appointment that I've never register to SS? Does it effect the end result of the interview?

Those how are aware of true answer ONLY reply please;
