Child at interview
My wife and I have applied together and we are still waiting on an interview date. Does anyone know if we can take our 6 year old with us to the interview or oath ceremony?

Ridiculous
I downloaded the "current" N400 form from the USCIS website. The date on the bottom was 9/29/2016. I just got it rejected, because it was not the current form. Apparently the current form is 12/23/2016. I just did a direct comparison between the two forms using a PDF comparison tool, and the only difference was the date on the bottom. If you are thinking it was because I submitted the wrong fees, since a fee change occurred on 12/23/2016, that is not the case, as I did submit the current fee amount. Typical government bureaucracy.

Citizenship experience in California - Oath ceremony scheduled
I went for citizenship interview in San Francisco recently. Whole experience was very smooth. Officer first went through one sentence reading and writing test. Then she asked me 6 civic questions which I finished quickly. Then she went over many questions from n-400 form yes/no questions. After that she asked me to sign couple of places and gave me n-652 letter marking two checkboxes. 1) passed the test 2) Congratulations! You are recommnded for approval. Whole interview lasted for around 15 minutes. Officer didn't ask any other document although I carried everything like last 5 years tax docs, w2s, marriage certificate etc. Officer also mentioned that I should receive oath letter within 30 days. After that I left and while having coffee in Starbucks after 10 minutes of interview, I got notification that uscis updated my status. I was excited to login and check the status. They updated the status with "Uscis has scheduled your oath ceremony. We will mail you the appointment letter". At this point I am just waiting for oath ceremony letter. Anyone knows how long normally takes to receive such letter in San Francisco?

Houston - Field office
here is my experience so far;

N-400 sent - 01/19/2017 - 90 days early
N-400 received - 01/20/2017
Doc. approval text and credit card charge - 01/23/2017
FP notice - 02/01/2017
FP date - 02/16/2017
In line for interview – 03/20/2017

I also have this question regarding my speeding ticket which were resolved but I havent mentioned them on N-400 and I dont know why recently I am stressed out on why I havent mentioned them. I guess I can get the report and take it with myself to the interview and let the officer know before interview? they both were below 500 and just a simple ticket and no arrest. I guess that's why I havent called them out on N-400

Interview Scheduled - March 30th, 2017
 I am guessing my interview date will be around May 2nd- 3rd.

The processing time for Orlando is May 20th as of Jan 31st. 2017. This was a pleasant surprise as my PD is far away from the processing time. Wishing all good luck on their applications. Now time to get to those 100 questions. Will keep you all posted on my progress!
