USCIS Processing Times
Did any one else notice how the processing times went backwards for all field offices this month?

For Washington D.C (as an example), they were processing N-400 cases as of April 11 2016 when they posted it in January 2017. Now they are processing cases as of March 26 2016 when they updated the site this month. Same thing with I-485s and N-600s.

Anyone know whats going on? So weird!

USCIS Dallas TX
Hello everyone!

I filed my citizenship application on 13th through USPS and was delivered on the 16th. I checked our bank account almost everyday to see if USCIS has accepted my check. Today I checked it and saw a transaction was made yesterday. I was wondering what happens after that?

Hi All,

Timeline:
May 25, 2016: N400 Sent
May 27, 2016: Check cashed
Jun 08, 2016: Fingerprint appointment notice
Jan 26, 2016: Fingerprint Done

That was the last thing I have on my case, Almost 9 months now!! I called two weeks ago and the Level 2 officer told me that they are trying to locate my A-File, not even know what that means but Im guessing my alien file?
This is a bit frustrating as the proccessing dates keep changing in the system.

Im sure im not alone in this waiting...

N 400 Milwaukee, WI
Milwaukee office
Filed Day: 07/19/2016
Biometric completed: 08/09/2016

When I filed N400, it said on the website of USCIS that it takes 5 months. Based on that, I applied for N 400. It's been 7 months and status hasn't changed, "your case under review".

I am a lawful permanent resident. I pay taxes on time and I have all documents. I am a hard working employee. I have a family. USCIS said the process takes 5 months.
I was born in Europe and raised in a country that is an ally of United States. It should not take longer than time frame promised. How can this process be expedited?

Biometrics completed 7 months ago.
Location: Dallas, Texas
Case received and accepted: 6/20/2016
Biometrics completed: July 11th

I have not received anything since my biometrics appointment in July 2016. The processing times on the site keep changing back and forth. Two weeks ago the site stated that N400 applications from May 28th were being processed, a few day ago they updated the processing applications as of July 28 2016. I checked again this morning and the are now processing applications from April 2016.

My mother submitted her application in January 2016 and went through the entire process in less than 3 months. Her Ceremony was in first week of April 2016. I also know someone who submitted their application in May 2016 and just went through the ceremony the last week of January 2017. So it took her about 9 months to become a citizen.

So there does seem to be a delay in the processing time for a lot of applications and my only relief is that i am not the only one experiencing it. Hopefully they get to our applications soon.
