Biometrics appointment: 9/6/2016
For a very long time the status message was: "USCIS has scheduled your interview appointment and will mail you the appointment notice"
Finally, on 1/26/2017 received a notice about my interview- pretty fantastic birthday present if you ask me.
3/13/2017 Interview in Charlotte, NC.
Will update after the interview.

Second notice sent for a second biometrics.
Went to second biometrics in 12/9/2016
The office said that the second set of fingerprints were not needed.
No update yet. Anyone know why? Done in San Diego. Thank you.

Miami N400 app
the application was accepted on 8/18/2016 and had my Biometrics appointment on 9/08/2016. Around October the message status changed saying they had scheduled an appointment and would email a notice. However, I called at the beginning of this month and they told me a date has not been set up yet. I will try calling again next week to see how the process is going. Also, does anybody know if the questions for the test wil be updated? I'm guessing that with the change in government some answers will change.

How long do you have to wait after N400 interview for your oath ceremony in Washington DC Field Office? My interview was on 01/18/2017 and the case was approved same day and still no oath letter. I heard they do same day oath in Fairfax, VA but the officer told they will mail me the letter.

October 29th I was put in line for an interview. But I'm still waiting 3 months later!!!!
I have been calling every week speaking to the second level officers and they keep telling me to wait . Im a little frustrated bc my husband and I want to go out of the country but I cannot till this is done.
Any advise will help. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!

Hello All,
I am from Houston, TX filed my N400 in June 2016 and done biometrics in June also sine than status online is same "we schedule your biometrics appointment and sent the notice..............." it been 7 months but nothing change. I called the USCIS customer services but they are telling me same information which is on website :-)
No idea whats going on why its taking so long. anyone in same situation?

Termination of proceedings
I had a case with immigration that was closed administratively in 2015, when i applied for the citizenship they asked me a paper from the immigration court where shows that my case is closed with "termination of proceedings". I don't understand what does it mean and right now being a single father of 2 can not afford a lawyer. Any help will be appreciated.

Had my interview today at Federal Plaza (New York), the interview went well on spend 10 mins with the IO. She was very friendly and nice. She ask me the following questions:
Who is the father of our country?
What month do we vote for president?
The idea of self-government is in the first three words if the constitution. What are these words?
We elect a U.S Senator for how many years?
The house of Representatives has how many voting members?
Name one war fought by the United States in the 1900s?
Here is my timeline:
6/7/2016: Mail N-400 application
6/14/2016: Notice of Action
6/15/2016: check was cashed
