N-400 Application Lewisville, TX center
Hi Guys,

I was expecting Trump's victory, so I tried to rush and submitted my citizen application before it's too late.

Status: Married with american citizen
Greencard holder for 3 years & 4 months

Application center:
    USCIS
    Attn: N-400
    2501 S State Hwy 121
    Business Suite 400
    Lewisville, TX 75067

-I sent my N-400 application form + fees + documents on Tuesday Nov 8th 2016 via USPS express mail.

-USPS confirmed the documents were received on Wednesday nov 9th 2016 at 11:26 a.m.

Since then, I have not heard anything yet. USCIS has not cash out the checks yet from my bank account.

Waiting for updates.

So we did all the necessary things and finished the Bio Metrics.. No updates since.. I called USCIS because one of my relatives that filed 2 weeks after we filed got her interview already.. The friendly CS said currently they are processing all March applicants.. Crazy right ? Not sure how USCIS Process this.. We are all from Mount Laurel, NJ.

Naturalisation Interview
Question for those who have been through the interview already. Do you have to surrender your current passport until after the Oath taking ceremony?

I have my interview on Dec 5th and a vacation booked for Feb. I'm trying to decide if I need to reschedule, I obviously can't travel without a passport.

so disappointed
Leave in Rowland Heights, case in San bernardino field office, which goes by physical not mailing address. It has a process time of five month.

Case receive june 8 2016
fingerprint schedule june 16 2016
fingerprint date july 5th 2016
Background clean july 19th 2016 Nothing wrong!

Since then, no updates, call many times, went into field office twice, ask to speak to second level officer many times. today is my five month date. I was suggested to call back today last friend to place a case inquire. However, today I was told that they cannot place it because my case have been backlog and ask me to wait another 90days. They admitted that they process the case depend on case by case situation and not in the order of receiving it.

*** Never try to use different physical and mailing address, the officer get confuse themselves.

green card lost but want to apply for citizenship
Hello everyone

I have a pending i-90 but need to apply for citizenship. My green was lost so I applied to replace it. Can I apply for citizenship without the green card? Or wait until I receive the green card and then apply for the citizenship?

-Thanks
